Chapter 43

Last we left off Mikaela and the Seven Deadly Sins proceeded to save villagers from the demon race who intended to use them as sacrifices, and while that was happening, we saw Ian planning something while using multiple people and creatures from different races, and after that, Howzer ended up being appointed as the new grandmaster, leaving him in complete shock. Meanwhile, we go to King and Diane in the Fairy King forest with them accidentally seeing each other naked.

We now see King and Diane hiding from each other as they saw each other naked, King apologizes to Diane, but she tells him it was her fault too. King was worried that his wings were not sprouting yet, but as he feels Diane may understand him, he stands up to say he was talking about his wings, but then Diane sees him naked yet again.

We then cut to King and Diane sitting at the great tree while watching the horizon.

Diane: I wonder what everyone in Liones is doing right now.

King: I heard that since Meliodas was brought down by Ian, the demon race has been running rampant across Britannia, which means there is a good chance that Meliodas was attacked too.

Diane: Poor Meliodas. He was so good to us. What a horrible way for him to die.

said Diane before proceeding to start crying.

King: I never understood him; he was a mystery to me right up to the very end. Even so, I'm sorry he's gone.

Diane: Me too.

King: I do hope Mika is doing okay.

Diane: Yeah, the poor thing looked like his soul had left his body.

Said Diane remembering the state Mikaela was in when he saw Meliodas die. That's when Diane decided to change the subject.

Diane: I've been wondering: how come the Fairy King forest is safe from the demon races attacks?

King: Because there's a barrier around it and it's screening everything, it knows who should be allowed to enter and who shouldn't.

Diane: I'm sure Matrona is so thankful that you let her, Zelpa, and his family in.

King: There is something...that still bothers me.

Said King turning to Diane.

Diane: Oh?

King: I don't know about the demon race, but you'd think they'd detected the fairy king and giant king by now.

Diane: You mean Gloxinia and Drole, right?

King: *nods* Yeah. Ever since that day Meliodas was killed, neither of them has made any moves against us, but I'm sure they're up to something.

Diane: Right, that means we need to keep an eye out for them no matter what, but the way we are now, if they do show up, we wouldn't stand a chance.

We then cut to Sol playing with Oslo as Matrona, Zalpa, and Della looked on happily, with Della cheering for Sol.

Della: Move, Sol! Get up and start running!

Matrona: Yeah, or he's gonna eat you up.

Said Matrona as Oslo proceeded to lick Sol's face, while Gerheade looked at the scene with a smile before widening her eyes and turning around in shock and confusion as she felt something.

Matrona: Diane, you're back.

Said Matrona as Diane joined the group.

Diane: Hey, Matrona, why don't you take a dip too?

Matrona: That's not a bad idea. Uh. Be careful; watch your feet.

Said Matrona as Diane nearly stomped on Sol and Oslo.
