Chapter 21

A/N: So the events of this chapter occur between the festival and the day Elizabeth left with the Sins it's the only episode from signs of the Holy war that I'll be writing the others I'll skip over them Im writing this one because there is something I'm doing at like the end 

We cut to the kingdom to Liones to see a bunch of fire works in the sky as the kingdom was celebrating Hendrickson's defeat. We then cut to Elizabeth standing outside the Boar Hat looking at the fire works.

Meliodas: What's going on, Elizabeth?

Mikaela: Is something bothering you?

Said Mikaela who just finished playing the Violin and Meliodas causing Elizabeth to turn to them.

Elizabeth: Sir Meliodas. Mikaela.

Meliodas: Hey.

Mikaela and Meliodas then walk up next to her and start looking at the fireworks too.

Elizabeth: I was told that the people have been liberated, and those forced into false labor are finally starting to return to their homes.

Mikaela: That's great.

Elizabeth: It is, and although it's going to take a long time to rebuild after all this, the fact that we're able to celebrate Liones's founding festival is thanks to you two and-

However before she could finish she was interrupted by Meliodas who said.

Meliodas: It's all thanks to you for bringing us together, right?

Mikaela: Right.

Said Mikaela causing Elizabeth to smile before she and the father-son duo looked back at the fireworks.

Elizabeth: This is it. It's finally over.

Meliodas: Not exactly, cause my journey hasn't wrapped up yet.

Said Meliodas confusing the two.

Elizabeth: Huh?

Mikaela: What do you mean?

However Meliodas only smiled at them in the response before just walking back to the tavern.

Timeskip.

It's the other day, and we see Elizabeth opening her window and looking at the sky before inhaling and exhaling.

Elizabeth: What a mourning.

We then cut to the royal family sitting at a dining table eating their breakfast, though the only one who was eating was Elizabeth, as the others were looking at her in shock due to her eating her food too quickly. Elizabeth then wipes her mouth before getting up.

Elizabeth: Thank you for the meal.

We then cut to Elizabeth excitedly running through the hallway and runs across Veronica and Griamore.

Veronica: Hey!

Elizabeth: I'll be back by dinner!

Veronica: For crying out loud.

Griamore: Shall I retrieve her? Mrs.

Veronica: No, it's alright. Guess a change of scenery wouldn't hurt.

We then cut to Elizabeth entering the throne room and see's Meliodas standing in front of  Bartra.

Meliodas: Sup, Bartra.

Bartra: Hello, Meliodas. How has your morning been?

Meliodas: It was pretty good.

Elizabeth: Sir Meliodas!
