In a house located in the kingdom of danafor we can see a small family meliodas a holy knight of the kingdom of danafor his wife Liz and their newly born son mikaela who has finally stopped crying
Liz: so how about you hold him?
Meliodas: I don't think that's a good idea
Liz:*giggles* don't worry it will be fine
She hands hand Mika to him
Meliodas and Mika stare at each other for a moment as mika reaches out his small hand to his father
Mika:Ahgaaugu
Meliodas smiles at his son who started to yawn
Meliodas: your tired aren't you little guy
Mika then fell asleep in meliodas as arm as meliodas looks at his sleeping son with a soft look in his eyes
Liz: I've never seen you this happy before
Meliodas: I'm glad he came out healthy. I will make sure to protect the both of you no matter that is a promise.
Liz:*smiles* I already know that silly. I love you meliodas
Meliodas: I love you too
Then both of them look at mika
Both:We love you mika
A year later the kingdom of danafor has fallen there plenty of destroyed buildings and dead bodies everywhere. Meliodas was running around in panic looking for Liz while holding his son
Meliodas: LIZ! LIZ! Where are you! Answer me!
Exclaimed Meliodas before continuing his search
Meliodas(thoughts): Please be okay! Please be okay!
Thought Meliodas before turning a corner he widened his eyes in horror as he saw Liz being impaled by a Fraudrin.
Liz:*weakly* Me...li..o..das
Said Liz causing Fraudrin to turn around to see meliodas which caused his eyes widened in shock
Fraudrin: Y-You're.
That's when the look of horror on Meliodas's face was replaced with anger before he proceeded to quickly attack. Fraudrin knocked him into the building before quickly running over to Liz and proceeding to hug her with the hand that wasn't holding Mikaela.
Meliodas: Please hold on; don't go. Me and Mikaela need you.
However, Liz just smiled at him with tears in her eyes
Liz: Don't cry; we'll meet...again. Just promise me you will keep Mikaela safe, no matter what.
Meliodas: Stop talking like that; you will be fine. Just hold on a little longer, and I will find some help.
Liz: There is no point. Meliodas I know my time is up. Just please take care of our ball of sunshine. Raise him to do good.
That's when Mikaela woke and noticed liz
Mikaela: Mama?
Liz: Don't worry, sweetie, mommy will just go to sleep. Everything is okay.
Mikaela: Mama hurt?
Liz: No sweetie. I'm okay. Don't worry, we will see each other soon.
Said Liz before turning to Meliodas.
Liz: Meliodas, please take good care of him and raise him well. I love you both.
Said Liz before proceeding to give Mikaela a kiss on the forehead before breathing her last breath

Asked Mikaela as he started shaking her however she wouldn't respond no matter how much he shook her thats when saw the blood from her injuries dripping into his hand causing his eyes widened in horror before proceeding to start crying.
That's when Meliodas picked him up and held him tightly
Meliodas: Don't worry, little guy, Daddy's here. I promise I will keep you safe. I will protect you no matter what.
Said Meliodas in an effort to comfort Mikaela
Meliodas: 'Again, again, I let it happen again. I tried, but I can't stop it, and what's worse is that Mika had to witness it this time.'
Thought Meliodas as Fraudrin having recovered came out of the building and walked towards them
Fraudrin: I see you're still alive, you traitor, no matter what. You won't stop me from freeing the Ten Commandments.
Said Fraudrin before noticing Mikaela
Fraudrin: And I see you have a child with you.
That's when Meliodas turned to Fraudrin and glared at him with a look of pure wrath
Fraudrin: He has your hair color, but his eyes are the same as those of that woman. He's a Nephilim. Something like that shouldn't exist. I'll be sure to kill him.
Said Fraudrin causing Meliodas eyes to widen in a fury.
Meliodas: DON'T YOU DARE GO ANYWHERE NEAR HIM!!!
Exclaimed Meliodas as black markings started to cover meliodas's body as his wrath started consuming him much to Fraudrins horror.
Fraudrin: what!
Meliodas:I WILL PROTECT HIM NO MATTER WHAT!!!
Exclaimed Meliodas as his magic went out of control and proceeded to engulf all Danafor before proceeding to blow it up

As meliodas left the destroyed danafor with Mika and another child in his hand. Along with a broken sword he was confronted by two men
Knight: hey those are some serious injuries maybe you should lie down for a bit let me take care of the little ones
As he reached out his had meliodas slapped it away with the hilt of his sword
Meliodas : don't touch them
Knight: I just
Meliodas: keep your hands of my son and woman
The knight was confused after he he heard that but decided to put it aside for now
Knight:I'm sorry I just wanted to help you if you want I can take you to place where you could rest with the little ones
Meliodas looked at Mikaela who had cried himself to sleep
Meliodas:(thoughts) don't worry my child I will make sure to keep you safe and your mom will be back soon
Author note: this story was inspired @Phearless14 half demon/full hunter story it's the only 7ds story that I liked but unfortunately it's on hiatus right now so I decided to make my own version I thought why not although I'm gonna skip the moments of meliodas being a prev because it cringes me .be sure to check out his stories
