CHAPTER SEVEN ; MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
season 2 episode 5
———

"SAM, YOU ALRIGHT IN THERE?" Selene called out, standing beside the closed bathroom door, she had softly knocked a few times but was meant with no response, not even a sound. "Sam—?"

That's when she heard him, sounds of groaning pain coming from inside. This caused a slight panic to set in her chest, making her worry even more as she couldn't wait any longer. Selene twisted open the door, pushing it open to reveal the sight inside.

Sam, who was bent over the sink grabbing in head in pure agony, was too busy to even realize Selene's presence. His was rubbing his temple in circles with one hand as the other gripped the sink so tightly his knuckles turned white.

"What's happening?" Selene asked in a concerned tone, making herself known as she stepped into his space. Coming up behind him she reached her hand up to his shoulder, as it hovered over him body she felt a familiar spark flow through her hand. Making her drop it, staring at her palm in a confusion—she wasn't using magic, so why did it feel like she was?

Sam must have felt something too, a spark because the second her hand was inches from him because that's when his head lifted him. His eyes locking in on her in a sort of fear and shock, "Selene--I uh..." Sam trailed off, too much pain still lingering to have formed a good enough excuse.

"You don't look to good," Selene told him, now placing her hand on his shoulder--that spark gone by now. Yet she still had a strange feeling in the pit of her gut about it, although she decided to ignore it. "What's going on?"

Sam stood up straight, returning to his much taller height as he collected himself. Wiping off the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, looking down at her blinking away the migraine.

In this moment, while she looked up at him in complete and utter concern, he seemed to be very eager to tell her the truth. In his mind, he's already shared so much with her, his parents and his girlfriend. He wasn't sure why, in all honesty she was a stranger, Dean used to say it all the time. But it was something in her eyes, the way she looked at him and made him feel like he could.

"Uh, well..." Sam started, scratching the back of his neck anxiously while he exited the bathroom. Selene watched him and then proceeded to follow him out into the rest of the motel.

That's when Sam took a seat on the edge of the bed, and Selene sat on the other one next to it. They faced each other as Selene could feel something about to come, something that she had to be sitting for based on Sam's facial expression.

"Starting to scare me a bit here, Sam." Selene stated, looking at him as he avoided her eyes.

Sam cleared his throat, preparing himself to tell her a rather big secret that only Dean knows. He knew he probably shouldn't, he knew that Dean might not be to happy that he is saying this, but he always knew that Selene was something special.

"I have these sort of...visions." Sam told her, but his voice was a little unsure. His eyes now watching her closely, her face reaming blank and her eyes unreadable. He knew she needed more information, "I can see things before they happen,"

Sam went on to explain a bit more, and the whole time Selene did not say a word. She listened to what he had to do, listened closely and absorbed everything. Even when he finished and simply stared at him, she had no words. Shocked by this information, she knew that Sam was special but yellow eyes seemed to have left this part out. Most likely because these visions always seem to have a connection to that same demon, the one who killed his mom.

Although, having hearing that same can just about predict the future, it didn't really change anything. If anything, she felt closer to him, knowing that they both had something inside of them that made them different--it actually made her feel closer to him.
