CHAPTER NINE ; THE ERASED MEMORY
season 2 episode 5
———

"ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS—DAMN IT!" Selene pouts as Andy just won for the tenth time in a row. Andy and Selene had gotten bored as they were sitting in the backseat of the Impala. They were playing while Andy casually explained what he knew about Webber.

Apparently Webber showed up eight months ago and just started acting like he was Andy's best friend. It was unclear as to why Webber pretended to be a stranger instead of just telling Andy that they were brothers.

As they were trying to figure out what Webber was going to do neck, Sam started to have another headache. A hand went to his temple as he massaged, it, trying to ease that pain that he knows will never stop until it wants to.

Dean was driving so he couldn't do anything about it to help out, but Selene wasn't. She turned from Andy, and reached up to place a hand on his shoulder. Before her hand came in contact with him, she felt that familiar spark—although she made the mistake of ignoring it.

The second that her palm met with his body, she felt a wave of power run through her veins. It felt like a burning sensation run up her arm till it hit her brain, making her drop her head onto the seat behind Sam. Closing her eyes that she knew had gone a bright red as something takes over her.

It seemed to be flashes of images, it was a woman—the waitress from earlier. She was standing on the edge of a bridge, looking down at the long fall in front of her as she clearly didn't want to fall off. Next thing she saw, the waitress was jumping off the edge, falling to her demise.

The vision was hurting Sam so bad that Dean stopped the car, jumped out and ran around the side. Opening the passenger door and allowing Sam to get more room and air, when Sam moved to be sitting half out of the car. Selene's hand slipped from him, breaking her free from Sam's vision.

Selene felt her heart racing, pounding inside her chest. Like a weight had been dropped on her and she was now expected to be okay, she was startled and out of breathe. Most of all, she was beyond confused. What the hell did she see? Was that really Sam's vision? If it was, how in the world did she manage to see it?

Was it magic, or was it Sam's?

"Hey," Andy started as he placed a hand worried hand on her shoulder, "Are you alright?"

Selene only looked up at him, not bothering to say anything as she did. Selene couldn't really be telling Andy all of this, she liked him and trusted him but not nearly as much as Sam. This was something she had to keep to herself for now at least.

Sam had explained everything he saw, even though Selene already knew it all—she pretended like she didn't. The four of them drove to a bridge, and Sam had a plan that the others followed along with.

Sam went to the car that was parked near the bridge, inside of it was Webber and the waitress, Tracy, who happens to be Andy's ex-girlfriend. Sam went in, smashing the window the of car and pulling Webber out while Andy went and helped Tracy. The two boys thought that they might be able to deal with the twin brother, talk him down at least.

Out in the woods watching everything, was Selene and Dean. Dean has a gun with a scope that he used to look through, trying to determine when and if he should take the shot on Andy's evil twin brother. Selene laid next to him, squinting her eyes as best as she could to see—Dean wanted her to stay out of this fight between the mind controlling brothers and she didn't disagree. It's best she go no where near them, can't be spilling her secrets anytime soon.
