"SAMMY, I NEED YOUR HELP!" Selene called out from the bathroom in the motel they were staying in. The sound of Sam's quick footsteps could be heard as he raced to the bathroom, practically throwing the door off the hinges as a panic filled inside of him. A panic of habit, never knowing what sort of attack they could be under.

When Selene looked over at him, he held a gun up in her face. Selene ignored the barrel she was staring down and turned her back to Sam, "Zip me up?"

That's when Sam looked at her, a little pissed because he seemed to think that it was a much bigger problem at hand other than her stuck zipper. Selene smiled at him innocently, making it hard to stay mad.

Sam put away the gun, taking a step towards Selene as he brushed her hair over shoulder. Looking down at her back, the dress she wore was a tight black dress that ended just in the middle of her thigh. Sam's paid no attention to anything else other than the unzipped zipper out of respect.

It took a few seconds for Sam to get the zipper to the top, but it was easy in the end. When he was done, he gave her side a tap and she tossed her hair back in its place.

"Thank you." Selene thank'd him, as she looked at Sam through the mirror. He simply nodded his head. Selene saw that his eyes were avoiding hers, she could feel it in her gut that something was wrong. Especially when looking at him, ever since Yellow eyes has told her about their connection she has been accepting of these random feelings. Knowing that they were Sam's all along. "You okay?"

Once again, Sam simply nodded his head, "All good." Sam lied, he couldn't lie to Selene she saw right through him. Sam didn't want to be interrogated further, so he made a move to exit the bathroom. Being in close proximity with her made it even harder to lie.

So, Selene made the decision to step around Sam and close the bathroom door. Entrapping them in the small space, but she already felt better knowing he couldn't walk away from her.

"What are you doing?" Sam asked confused, looking at Selene in a sort of concern. Thinking something might be wrong with her.

"Thanks to you, I've learned that being stuck in a bathroom helps talk about feelings. So, it's our turn." Selene started, Sam sighed. Looking around the bathroom for a second possible escape. "You have to tell me, Sam. If you don't me going on this date your brother, I need to know now."

Sam once again sighed, not sure how she was able to tell so easily that something was off with him. It wasn't that he didn't want her going on this date, it didn't bother him—it was just a protectiveness he had over her. Like a need to protect her no matter what and if he's being honest, Dean doesn't have the best track record with women. If he didn't know Dean, he'd want to keep her away from him.

He knows that Dean has a lot of respect for women maybe even too much. He loves them—all of them. Dean's also told his brother many times that he can't imagine himself settling down because of the job that they have—it just doesn't allow them to have that kind of luxury.

So in Sam's eyes, it was hard to see Dean changing over night for Selene, who looked so happy to be getting ready for this date. He didn't want this to end in flames, his friend and brother having a little fun together is not worth losing what they've built. What Selene and Sam have built.
