Chapter 1: Intro

Powerful wind shifted the tree branches, it hit the house; making a scratching noise. The microwave started to beep signaling the popcorn was ready. The slight heat waves hit me in the face as I take the snack out rapidly, and placing it in a black shiny bowl.

It's Sunday night meaning that I and my best friend, Jocelyn have a sleepover. We usually stay at my house since her mom works late night shifts and comes home late in most days, and my mom just wouldn't allow me to have a sleepover without an adult in the house which make no sense since I stay at home alone when she leaves for work.

As soon as I walked inside my room the smell of freshly made popcorn filled he air. "Well look who finally made popcorn.'' Jocelyn comments while dropping her bag on the my bed. Her blonde hair is up in a bun with her pink loose shirt, and black shorts.

''What do you mean? I always make it.'' I answered.

''No you don't you always send me. I'm supposed to be the guest here.'' Jocelyn points at herself.

''Well I made it tonight,'' I placed the glass bowl of popcorn in the floor next to my phone. I sat down on my baby blue carpet, ''what movie do you want to see?''

Jocelyn walked over to me and started looking through my shelf. That was filled with movies from Disney to Horror; which I didn't have much of since I get scared very easy. For example, when I first watched The Grudge I couldn't go to sleep for two whole nights, it was horrible.

''I don't know you choose,'' Jocelyn shrugged and started going through her iphone. Before I even started to scan through the options a loud shriek filled my ears.

''Oh my god! Forever In Your Mind is coming here, Their coming to Boise in a month. No big artist comes here this is a miracle. Thank you God,'' she turned to me and grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me back and forth. ''Just think about it. I'm finally going to see Jon's face and tell him how much I love him. I need tickets pronto.'' she screamed letting my shoulders free.

I don't know why she's so obsessed with them. They have a few good songs, that's it. I hear from them 24/7 over the dumbest things. She gives me facts that don't even come to topic. I mean who cares if Jon's favorite candy is Twix. I hear about it every time we go to the store.

''I don't know what you see in them. Their just another boy band.'' I inform her and reach for some popcorn. Suddenly Jocelyn bolted from the floor. Here we go again.

''Just another boy band... just another boy band. You do know that they reached #2 in the music charts, right?'' she walked backwards and forwards to prove her point. I love Jocelyn to death, but she always overreacts when it comes to her boys,.

''I never said they were a bunch of nobodies. What I'm saying is that their just boys. Why treat them like their the whole whole universe and can we watch the movie in peace.'' I lifted up the movie I choose and flashed it, so she could see it.

''Fine, but why Titanic though? You know I get sleep every time I see it.'' she sat back down pouting.

''You said I could choose whatever I want, and I want Titanic. I love this movie.'' I really did. I cry every time I see it. Especially on the scene where they find that women carrying her blue skin baby. I've watched it like a thousands times.

''Just put it on already and get this over with.'' she looked for her FIYM blanket and got comfortable. I turned off the lights and started to watch the movie.

After three hours and thirty minutes of watching Titanic the movie ends. Jocelyn is asleep slobbering all over the Jon's side of the blanket.

Was the movie that boring? Of course not.
