Audrey's POV

''She's still not talking to you?'' Jon asks me as I walk into his apartment. I called him since Ricky wasn't going to be able to pick up. He left on Friday and was coming back tomorrow.

''Nope. I left her several messages saying I was sorry for hanging up on her but she won't even see my messages.'' I tell him admiring the plasma tv hanging high on the wall. This apartment seems bigger than my house.

''Maybe I should talk to her? I think we all know she'll listen to me.'' He laughs pulling up a chair for me to sit in. He's so polite and nice how could that girl been so stupid to let him go.

''Yeah, especially now since that jerk left her. I never thought Alex would do that to her.'' I guess after a while people get tired and annoyed with someone and can't accept their ''flaws'' anymore.

''Yup, even when you think it's solid.'' He coughs up and I feel bad for triggering any past wounds.

''Jon you want to talk about it?'' I ask him not sure of his reaction. He's not like Ricky and becomes a shield when it comes to personal data, but maybe this was too much of a trauma for him.

''There's really nothing to talk about. You heard everything.''He frowns at the floor and my heart begins to hurt for him. Then I remember how I felt about Chris back in Boise, and now I barely think of his existence.

''You just need to get out here. Don't tell me no, we're going out right now to find you a good girl, not like that girl. '' I get up placing the chair back where Jon had pulled it out. He gets up, his eyes on me in shock.

''Where exactly do you plan on taking me?'' He asks and I shrug.

''No clue, but you need to loosen up,'' I reach the door and turn back to see him standing by his bed like a lost puppy. '' C'mon Jon.'' I hurry him until he slowly starts to walk to me.

We head down the elevator and I mentally analyzing places to go. Generic places like the mall, or Starbucks, even the Pier. Places where characters meet each other in movies. As we get in his car and exit the hotel's parking lot he asks me where to go.

''What kind of girl do you like that will decide the location,'' I ask him buckling up hearing a chuckle from him.

''Well I want someone funny, smart, nice. You know those kinds of girls.'' No, I don't. Those kinds of girls?

''Well let's try the mall first. Plus I have to go and explore for a graduation dress.'' I tell him as he turns to the right. Dress shopping is usually reserved for my mother and me but she's been extremely out of character. At least before we both acted semi-put together and protect each other now her emotions have spilled and cleaning up isn't her priority.

Once there and seeing someone girls gush and turn when we walk in I knew it was going to be a mission. Yes, the girls kept on dropping by every 10 seconds but all of them appeared to be just fans. Maybe it would be easier if none one saw him for status but for him. ''Told you it wasn't going to work. Let's just leave I'm uncomfortable.''

''Lets at least go see a few dresses. I need opinion since I've been told I don't dress not like I should.'' I perk up a smile thinking back to the last time I was at the mall. Before going home mom nonchalantly mentioned that I wasn't the girliest when it came to clothing.

''Your clothes are fine but what you need is a different hair color.'' He says pulling a strand of blonde. ''You natural color is brown, ain't it?''

''Yes, does blonde look bad?'' I ask him growing apprehensive suddenly the split ends were least of my problems.

''No, but I feel brown would look better. Why don't we both get a change in hair? I always wanted blonde tips?''
