Looking everywhere up and down we continue our search for Vanessa and D.J.

Parker hasn't said much since we left that bench near the funnel cake, yet he's still carrying Tweety. For some reason I'm upset that she left us to have some alone time. What did she think was going to happen?

The first time I met Parker was through Vanessa who I have the same math class with. He was very quite and wasn't much like Vanessa. He doesn't crack up laughing, instead you'll catch him reading a comic book . My head is starting to ache from the heat and all this walking is making me feel like shit. Not to mention I'm sweating like crazy.

''That's it I give up,'' I stop and drop my hands. ''Why are we even looking for them?''

''Uhm I don't know... I was following you.'' He shrugs taking off him glasses and wiping them with his shirt.

''What time is it anyway? Isn't the park closing soon?'' I point at a tree where we can take cover from the sun.

He looks at his wrist watch, ''There's only two more hours left. We could just- Audrey are you feeling okay?''

Feeling off balance I take hold of his shirt and look up at him. ''The heat.'' I feel one of his hands on my shoulder then one hand on my forehead.

''You're hot! Here seat I'll go buy you some water, don't move.'' He leads me to a bench next to a man who has very hairy legs and sunglasses. I nod and try to ignore the cramps in my stomach. Taking out my phone I randomly open apps and scroll through them before closing them again. I see Keta has recently updated her story on Snapchat I click on it and see her switching faces with Jon and the lunch their having with that bald man. What was his name again? Joe? Whatever it doesn't matter now.

They look so happy. I felt cold water droplet on my knees making me look up at Parker. ''Here,'' He handed it to me and scooted between me and that hairy man who gave him a dirty glance. ''We should go back to the car and wait for the rest it shouldn't be long before they join us.'' The cool water goes down my throat making the headache a bit better.

''I'm sorry.'' I say getting up taking another long sip.

''Don't be I didn't want to come here in the first place,'' we started walking back to entrance with Parker carrying both the pencil and Tweety.

''Wait do you even have the car keys?'' I'm half way down the bottle as we reach the parking lot.

''Yeah my brother gave them to me because he knew I would be the first to come back here.'' With that he pulled the keys out and opened the door for me. He turned on the air conditioning and the radio. Parker called his brother to tells him we were back on the car. ''Are you feeling better?''

''Yeah thanks- oh how much was the water?'' Quickly I bend over to get my phone to take the case out before he stopped me.

''It's okay you don't have to pay me back,''

''You sure?''

''I'm sure now when are you free?'' I choke the water making a mess.

''What?'' I wipe the water from my lip turning the cap as tight as it went. He scooted back a little reaching for a tissue box under the seats and gave me one as he patted the seating between us.

''Remember at the bus? You and me going to the Pier?'' He kept looking down.

''Oh yeah uhm well I have an English test to study for next week, but I maybe next, next week?''

''I could help you study for the test?''

''Its okay I don't want to bother you,'' As much as I enjoy being with Parker I don't want him to be in my house going over stuff he did last year. Plus he's been acting weird lately and I have enough of that at school.
