My eyes were fixed on the exit to where I could see Parker's bumper from the window. The nurse sees me pass by and coughs. I give her a quick look noticing she says nothing I tell her, ''I don't wanna say I told you so, but I told you so. Bye have fun with the queen.'' I wave her off and push the rotating doors to the warm of the outside.
The loose wavy hair of his covers his eyes and before I jump in with him I scan around for an overly expensive car with a cocky grinned girl. ''Who looking for someone?'' He asks me as I take a seat and look over for the belt again.
''Yeah, did you see a girl with black hair and eyes, walking out of the hospital with an arrogant walk, and a superior stance?'' I am just really pissed at her- for I don't what reasons, but seeing Ricky like that is enough to hate her. The boy who usually has a passive sincere look in his eyes had red circles of pain surrounding them. I never saw him cry, only the aftermath, and I don't know what's worse to witness. The rising of torture or the descend of grief.
''Wow, well I didn't see anyone like that. I only saw Peyton Olias walk out. I wonder what she was doing here?'' He shrugs getting out of the parking space.
''Parker, that's who I was talking about.''
He really seemed confused at this point. ''Man the description you gave me didn't fit her at all.''
''If you only knew,'' I whisper.
''Well we have a one hour drive ahead of us, so tell me.'' He asked for it and I told me the basics. Quickly his little admiration for her acting was questioned. ''So do Ricky and Peyton, still, you know?'' He wiggled his eyebrows, oh lord.
''I hope not. Knowing Ricky he wouldn't, he hates her guts. When I walked in, he threw a glass cup at her.'' And she didn't seem a little bit scared, or shocked, or anything. I don't if it's because she was no emotions, or she is was just used to it. Which I could comprehend with his change of moods.
''I just don't understand why she's still chasing after Ricky? You told me that he broke up with him and she made lies about it, so I just don't get.'' I ask Parker all the things I wish I could ask Ricky, knowing he won't yell at for being nosy.
''Maybe she wants him back.'' He asks and I silently answer: I would.
''Ricky won't take her back, doesn't she know when to give up? Plus the way she talks to him doesn't have the I want you back tone. She makes him cry. Cry!'' She has such a devouring power over him that he doesn't even know. Ricky isn't easy to fight with and he knows that and Peyton is just like him. It's just an ongoing fight.
''Why wouldn't he? She's pretty and crazy, but so is Harley Quinn. What I'm saying is that you never know.'' I know he's right. The only person that understands Ricky's thoughts is himself. Which is dangerous for him.
''So you're telling me that I should be prepared, just in case there's a chance they could get back together?'' I keep my eyes on the car's floor at the little strays of dust. As much as I'd love to roll down the window and trust Ricky that he won't go back, my opinion will have no effect on him.
''I know you like him, and I don't want you getting hurt just because he doesn't know what he wants.'' He says. Parker doesn't know that Ricky and I have that contract and if he did, I'm darn sure he wouldn't be talking to me right now.

''Just come back in a few weeks to see how the cut is healing so we can remove the bandages, but besides that, you're all set to go.'' The nurse gives Ricky's arm one last pat before turning to face us, a group of teens filling up the rooms.
''Alrighty thanks, Anne.'' Ricky winks at the young nurse who just shakes his head to the side. Well, he definitely must feel better by now. Strays if hair reach his eyes and his collarbone has deep shadows under them. Yes, he's smiling all cocky again, but he just looks worse.
