Sweat formed in my forehead and the bridge of my nose. We just finished an early rehearsal before the show in a few hours at the Staples Center. Quickly we're sent to the shower then to Kelsey my head stylist to get my hair done and my first change of the night.
''Where's Joby?'' asks Emery while his stylist cover the side of his head so the hair spray wont get in his eyes.
''I believe he's with Steve and Ana going over something. Your done darling.'' Kelsey answered patting me in the back telling me I'm done. Looking at the mirror I see my hair is in its usuall high quiff, nothing new.
Jon is laying on the couch looking through his phone when I pass the break room. I can already hear the chants of the crowd from the other side of the stage. Looking past the crates I see the arena completetly full with girls from corner to corner holding up the colorful signs.
''Five minutes!'' yelled a woman behind me. The rest of the guys joined me by the stairs leading to the stage and we got out our ear piece and did our handshake(for luck). Even though Jon wasn't able to sing tonight he would still join us.
As we wait for our entrance I can't help but think of where it all started. It's because of Marc I wanted to do this for the rest of my life; from the moment he showed me the movie Grease.
The best movie of all times. Whenever I saw the T-birds sing and dance I just followed their every step. The first song I completely learned the lyrics to was Grease Lighting.
Never did I think that I would go from making Youtube videos to going on a world tour with two of my best friends.
I feel a slight slap on my cheek, I look at Jon who mouths ''It's time.'' Next thing I heard was Emery's voice greeting Los Angeles, the music starts and my lips part.

My mom's door is less then 3 feet away.
It's eight in the morning a day after the concert. We have this whole Sunday to ourselves before locking ourselfs in a office room to discuss how we were going to approch the new member situation.
Just like me, Emery, and Jon flew to their hometowns even if it's just for a day. I haven't tolded my mom that I was coming I wanting to suprise her. Who I did call was Justin who lives a few minutes away from mom to make sure he comes for a visit.
My head tries to remember where the spare key is hidden since the one I had I lost after 6 months. The whole neighborhood is quite with the only sound being Mrs. Gutierrez's chihuahua barking. She moved here from Mexico at the same time we did. We been neighbors since we moved to the U.S from Puerto Rico when I was seven.
Pacing back inforth in front of the house I finally remember. I walk over to mom's roses and lift a brick beside the tiny windmill and find a bronze key covered in dirt.
I unlock the door and walk in with nothing in my arms. Some clothes are still in my old room so why bother to bring any for 24hours. The house looks the same since when I left two years ago. The sink is filled with dirty dishes, the garabage bag is full.
Before walking down the hall I take care of the mess and then quietly taking big steps eager to see my mom. The door creaks open revealing my mom with the conferter half way touching the floor. I start walk closer and then just jumped on her bed.
She shot up with wide eyes frantic and pushed me off the bed. ''Oh God, Ricky? Is that you?'' her head peeks on the side of the bed where I lay rubbing my knee.
''What's left.'' I say pulling myself up, followed by her arms wrapped around me.
''Your finally home. I missed you some much darling.'' she pulls me away and starts quishing my cheeks. I then pulled away my cheeks feeling numb.
