Audrey's POV

We were laying on the grass in a local park near the hotel looking up in silence. I feel weird to think about the heat of his hand on my thigh yesterday. I'm pretty sure he doesn't think about it as much as I do, which just makes me think about it even more. This morning waking up next to him just a few inches away just gave me a wave of overwhelming feelings. Is getting back together with him the right thing to do?

''You see that plane right there?'' I stop thinking about my awakward hand position my his hair yesterday and look up at the sky. I see a ant size plane leaving a trail of clouds.

''Yeah what about it?''

''Back in Puerto Rico, I would always get excited every 5 months because my dad would be flying back from here. I remember my mom telling my brothers and me that he was arriving tomorrow night and we would try to clean the house, but we just ended up making it look messier. Then after 1 month, he had to go back and every time I'd see a plane I say 'bye daddy', and still, now I  unconsciously do it.''

"Then I guess the moment you stop saying goodbye, is the moment that you've moved on. It's something to look forward too.''

He nodded and started playing with his fingers, "How do you think Sam is doing?''

Well, that question caught me completely off guard.

''I'm going to assume bad since his whole life was basically a lie,'' I say thinking back to the hurt on his face when the man he thought was his father said he never really loved him. ''Maybe you should talk with him?''

He got up and sat criss-cross looking down at me as if I had grown two heads. ''I don't think that's a good idea, Audrey.''

"Why not? I can't think of anyone else that understands what you're going through better than him. I'm just saying that maybe it might help both of you to vent out, but if you don't want to it's okay.''

He sat there staring blankly at the grass. After a while, he looked up and asked, ''You have his number right? I'll do it if he wants to.'' He shifted awkwardly in place and I couldn't help but smile.

''I'll ring him right n-'' I stop when I see a group of 5 girls pointing and jumping at us.  "I'll call him when your fans leave.'' I laugh and signal behind him where the girls start to wave like crazy.

He looks back and waves and they start to walk closer. ''Audrey, I'm really not in the mood for this.''

''Just do a quick photo and get up because they're right behind you.''

He rolls his eyes before getting up and turning around to greet them.  They all hug and I slowly start to get up trying to not get any attention to myself.

''I'm sorry but did we interrupt your date?'' one of them says still with one arm wrapped around his.

''Actually yea-''

''No, it's fine you guys can take pictures.'' I interrupt Ricky and I'm not going to lie that I do feel jealous seeing all these girls with nice tans touching him. Two of them kept eyeing me back and forth and whispering to each other.

While Ricky was distracted talking to the other three girls the other two gossip girls approached me. They were a good inch taller than me and seeing them up close all my insecurities kicked in.

''There was a rumor that you and Ricky aren't really dating, it is true?''

"We're actually dating...'' It felt so weird to say that, especially to some random girls.

One chuckled, ''No offense but why?''

''What do you mean?'' I asked feeling the pit of my stomach burn up.
