The first day of school didn't go as mortifying as I thought it would be, the main secretary gave me the option of having a guide to show me around which I gladly accepted. His name is Parker who has several classes with me. It's been two weeks now since then and I've feel quite comfortable in this new school. Parker introduced me to his friends at lunch and we quickly became friends as well, but who I really I think as a friend was this long hair brunette whose name is Vanessa.

It's five in the afternoon on a Friday and the heat is at its strongest point. All I want is take a long cool shower and finish up my assignment for English. I let my hair loose from the tight ponytail it is was in and jump into the water letting is cooling down my skin.

While applying my coconut scented shampoo my phone starts to ring with my ring tone of the week This Love by Maroon 5. Wiping the water drops from my face I pull the shower curtain to the side making a small gap big enough for me to see my phone laying on the toilet, and small enough for no water to splash on the floor tiles.

I squint my eyes and focuse on my screen which didn't help me find out who was calling me it just said unknown number. Ignoring it I go back to my shower making a note in my mind to check the caller ID later.

Closing my white binder and putting it back on backpack I sigh happy to finally be done. I'm in the living room my hair still a bit wet from my shower an hour ago. Before I turn on the Tv I remember the missing phone call and reach for my Samsung across from me on the glass coffee table. Noticing I have a voicemail I click on it and start to listen...

"Audrey Jackson the team of Climax Records wish to congratulate you on becoming one of the top three finalist! Calls us back as soon as possible to verify your acceptance to continue for the running to be the next member of Forever in your mind and arrange a meeting for you and the other contestants. Thank for auditioning and have a good day."

I felt my heart come a heel and my brain exceeding in questions! Dropping my phone on my lap I run my small fingers through my wet hair taking in deep breaths. "What the hell just happened?" I whispered to myself. Maybe it's a prank call and I'm foolishly falling for it? Or it could be true! But how? I never even knew there were auditions, but there's one person who might.

One person who stalks them for a living, and is constantly telling us unnecessary information, and assures us the she'll be the future Mrs. Klaasen. Just their number one fan and my dear friend, Jocelyn Volce. She's the only person in my mind with whom I know for sure knows something about this. Without hesitation I dial her number and wait for her answer biting the inside of my cheek after the second ring her voice bounced in my ear in pure happiness.

"Audrey, hey girl anything new!"

"Jocelyn did you know of any kind of auditions going around your guys?" I rubbed my temples leaning my back against the couch sinking in.

"Hum... No?" she hesitated and I know that she's lying. Jocelyn always knows exactly what to say she almost never stutters and I know that when she does she's lying. I stayed silent knowing that she'll break at any moment. "Okay fine I did know. Why?" I knew it.

"I got a call saying-" I start, but get cut off.

"You got in the top? Please tell me you did!"

"Yes, but how-"

"I knew it! All the advertisement I did for you was worth! What did they say? When are you going to meet my boys? Of God you made it I'm going to tell my mom-"

"Hold your horses Jocelyn before you go tell your mother you have to explain what you just got me into! How did you get a video of me singing anyways? Why didn't you tell me?" I bomb her with needed questions. I this point I was pacing back in forth between the kitchen to the living.
