Audrey's POV

''It's no bother text us your address and we'll let you know when we'll come over, bye.''

''Wait Jo-'' he hangs up on me. I can't have them in my house! Oh no just no...

''Who was that?'' Parker asked taking a drink from his soda. On the way home both D.J and Vanessa insisted they were hungry and forced Jacob to stop by McDonalds to take on the go taking the chance I went ahead to bathroom.

''Someone,'' The last thing I wanted was to explain to Parker that some guy had my tank top. I wasn't even hungry and I'm saving the little appetite I have to eat with mom.

''He sounded angry?'' He opened the door for Vanessa to get in who came back with her order and D.J's.

''That's just Ricky being Ricky. He's a very confusing person...'' Tucking a loose strand behind my ear I start to toss my phone back in forth between my hands trying to catch it.

''What do you mean?'' Taking a bite off his fry he had offered I shook my head.

Leaning my head on the window I start to feel sleepy once again, ''Well he can be rude and snappy, but he's also very caring. It's funny actually how he tries to act all tough, but you can tell that he's enjoying himself. He would sometimes turn around so we can't see his face but you can still see his lip curl into a smile, its cute.'' I turn back to look at Parker after waiting for a response he just looked at me with no expression just blank eyes.

He just shook his head and looked up straight ''You think he's cute?''

''What..''

''You just said he was cute?''

I dropped my phone, ''No I didn't!'' Trying to keep making eye contact with Parker as I look for my phone with one hand.

''Oh yes you did..'' D.J yelled from the back seat. Finally I find my phone next to what felt as popcorn.

''D.J do you even know what were talking about?'' I get up and turn to look at him.

He took bite of the burger and swallowed, '' Well no but you seem nervous which means you did do, what you said you didn't do, so by you saying no means yes meaning you did!'' He then made an explosion sound, ''I'm a genius I tell you.''

''Did I really say that?'' I couldn't? Well I mean Ricky isn't ugly or anything, but I just don't say things like that out loud. Parker nodded and D.J agreed. ''Uh well I must have meant cute as puppy cute, not as cute cute...''

''Right puppy cute?'' Parker chuckled.

Dropping me off first I say goodbye and thanks to Jacob and Parker before closing the door. The porch light was on and the door creaked open the closer I got. Mom was waiting for me with a big smile on her face giving me a tight hug as soon as I got a foot away from her.

''How was it?'' She asks as I wave bye then closing the door.

''Hot, but it was fun.'' I jumped on the couch kicking my shoes off. ''Uhg my legs hurt.''

''Oh Jocelyn called wondering where you were and why you weren't answering.''

''My phone died after Ricky called,''I see a bowl of chips on the coffee table and reach for it.

Mom moved my legs up so she could sit down then set then back down, ''What did he need?''

''I'll tell you at dinner,'' Taking a bite I look at the Tv feeling my eyes grow heavy. ''I should go take a long cool shower and charge my phone to see what Jos needs.'' Taking a while I finally push myself back up stroll up to my room ever so lazy.
