Son Wu said, standing in the center of a dirt ring, a specialized training area Wu had carved into the area outside of the Watatsumi Resistance's headquarters. Surrounding him was nearly a hundred men, all sweating and gasping for air. He had been training them for hours.
"RUAH!!!"
A Resistance soldier lunged forward, his katana raised high.
DM!!!
Wu slammed a weakened palm strike into their chin, catching them with one hand and shoving them back towards the ring of men to be caught by his fellows.
"Tell that one that he's far too tunnel visioned, and overcommits to attacks." Wu said.
"Alright, 26." Wu said.
"YEE!!!"
CLONK!!!
"The fuck was that battle cry!?" Wu laughed as #26 tumbled back into the ring of men, a smoking impact mark on his chest plate.
"Alright, 22, 21, 56, and 102. Come at me." Wu said as four men erupted from the ring at all sides. His eyes sparked with white light as he bursted his aura, sending them all tumbling back. "Sorry, I got nothing to say there, I just wanted to do something cool..." Wu chuckled.
"Hmph... Okay, take five..." Wu brushed off his hands as heaps of men collapse before him. "Did everyone get a go? I'm sure I got everyone..." Wu said.
"Uh... I didn't, sir!" A soldier with messy hair raised his hands.
"Which one are you?" Wu asked.
"M-My name is Teppei, Lord Son..." Teppei stuttered.
"No, your number..." Wu scoffed, rubbing his brow.
"Y-You didn't give me one." Teppei said nervously.

"...Okay, that's on me... Alright, which one of you guys was the last guy I called!? I'll give him the number above that..." Wu broadcasted his voice to the gathered soldiers.
"I'm number 156... so does that make Teppei 157?" One guy said.
"Wait, what? I'm 212! There's no way that you're the last guy!" Another said.
"Wait, who said they were 156? I'm 156!!!" Another man said.
"Oh my god..." Wu facepalmed. "Get in a line!!! We're doing a recount!!!"

"Hey, Lord Son..." Teppei said.
"Mhm...?"
Wu asked, sitting criss cross with the soldiers under the shade of a swathe of trees. All of them munched their share of food, Onigiri with some grilled fish.
"If we're all training under you, does that make us underlings in one big platoon? What'll you name us?" Teppei uttered.
"I... I'm not part of the army. I'm a 3rd party that prefers you guys..." Wu said, munching a big bite of the rice treat.
"Nonsense! We need a name as one giant ultra platoon!"

"Macaque Seven." Wu said, his tail swishing in the grass.
