Part 54: Scaramouche

"YOU GOD...!"

"DAMNED...!"

"SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!"

Wu roared, his eyes alight with anguish and rage as he blasted towards Kuzushi, his ki flaring.

DWASH!!!

Scaramouche smiled, raising his guard and letting Wu's fist slam into it. He let himself be blown backwards, skidding across the grass and leaving him far from Wu.

"The feeling of the impact... He let me knock him back... Why...?" Wu wondered, only for his eyes to light up with shock as he gazed upwards.

Kujou Sara and her shogunate had strung their bows, aiming right for Wu as their arrows pulsed with elemental energy,

The fatui aimed elementally charged rifles at Wu, and Signora an open palm of scorching pyro.

"FIRE!!!" Kujou Sara yelled.

"GH!!!" Wu leapt back, throwing up a cross guard.

DWADADADADADADADADAAAASH!!!!!!

Wu screamed out as multicolored hellfire was blasted into him, riddling his body with elemental explosions and sending him flying back, blasting away and tumbling across the landscape. He went flying off of the hillside and to the waterline, his body exploding against the sand of the beach and skipping once on the water.

Wu spun midair, his gi ragged and covered in scuffmarks and small tears. His shoes skidded on the water as he let out a low rasp. His eyes widened as two figures bathed in purple and orange energy respectively shot through the sky, hounding after him.

Signora and Scaramouche flew straight for Wu, their energies alight with killing intent.

Wu snarled, bursting into the Kaio-Ken X10 and flashing through the sky, shooting straight for Kuzushi.

Wu and Scaramouche met in the middle, their fists slamming together in an ear-exploding crash as roiling red ki sizzled against malicious electro.

Before Wu could throw another punch, Signora flew in from his blind spot, slamming a kick into Wu's side, sending him flying to side. He turned midair, letting out a barrage of ki balls towards the two Harbingers. Signora and Kuzushi only smirked, hovering side by side as they extended their palms.

BWAZASH!!!

 A barrage of pyro bolts and arcs of purple electro annihilated Wu's ki projectiles, slamming into Wu and sending him tumbling backwards.

Wu tried and failed to recover as he spent the exchange backpedaling, flying backwards and higher into the sky as the harbingers hounded after him. Any attempt at counterattacking was met with him being crushed between the two harbingers, and any attempt at retreat would leave him open to their superior firepower.

Kujou Sara let out a low breath, stringing another arrow as she poured as much electro as possible into the projectile.

"Your Excellency, should we really take such a passive role in this battle?" Kujou Sara asked, not taking her eyes off of the glowing embers of light tearing across the sky.

"The fatui Harbingers should be sufficient enough to kill Son Wu. I need not exert myself for needless reasons. If Son Wu proves too much for them, I will step in..." The Shogun uttered.

"Acknowledged." Sara said.
