Opaque white and dazzling purple impacted in the air at high speed, ringing out shockwaves for miles as two beings sparred.
Wu and Kuzushi clashed, their blows slamming into each other again and again as they danced at an equal pace.
In the skies of Yashiori island, the sounds of the thunder drowned out their combat, while the ever-present ambient ki let off by Orobashi's bones did well to swamp their energy signatures. Here, they could at least show a modicum of their power without having to worry about being cut down by the Raiden Shogun.
"You're good! Damn good!!!" Wu laughed, his and Kuzushi's hands locking together as they tumbled through the air. "I didn't think I'd find another human this strong so fast!" Wu barked.
"Oh, you're going to compare me to the other monsters you've met...!? Should I be jealous...!?" Kuzushi smirked.
DM!!!
The two threw knee strikes at the same time, their kneecaps crashing together in an impact that made the air tremble.
Before Kuzushi could follow up, Wu spun, throwing the lighter fighter down to the earth. Kuzushi's feet blasted into the dirt at the impact as he turned up, seeing Wu pull back two hands to his side.
"Kaaa....! Meee...-"
GZZZSHT!!!
"YAEEEEURGH!!!"
Kuzushi blasted Wu with a concentrated bolt of electro before he could charge his finisher, letting Wu spasm as he pitched backwards. Kuzushi burst into the sky, capitalizing with an interlocked hammerfist to Wu's midsection.
CRASH!!!

"Augh...!"
Wu pulled himself out of a Wu-shaped crater in the earth below, shaking the dirt from his hair as he brushed off his scuffed up gi, catching his breath on his knees.
"Tch. Some hero you are...~" Kuzushi taunted, hovering down from the sky.
"Still suppressed! Doesn't count!" Wu said, fuming. "God, I fucking hate electro...!" Wu hissed. Out of all the elements, electro seemed to be a hard-counter to him, the volatile element able to fry the sensitive nerves bunched up in his tail and spine, destroying his ki balance temporarily.
"Heheh..."
Wu grunted, gazing up from his kneeling position to see Kuzushi standing over him, his ki pulsing with the crackle of electro.
"For a man so strong, you're surprisingly easy to knock down. If I were evil, I could probably kill you right now..." Kuzushi said, smiling as he pointed an open palm at Wu, the center glowing with a concentrated ball of electro.
...
"No..."
Kuzushi's eyes widened in shock as Wu disappeared, reappearing an instant later. Before Kuzushi could even step back, Wu gripped his open hand, his entire body flashing with a golden glow. Kuzushi hissed out a panicked breath, feeling such a strong force grip his hand that he was forced to kneel.
"You can't..." Wu said, his gaze hardenned as his eyes sparkled with a turquoise glow. His hair stood on end, spiking up and swaying in the roiling current of his energy like a flickering flame.
...
But in an instant, it was gone, and Wu's energy plummeted back to a suppressed base as his hair fell back to rest. Wu smiled, pulling Kuzushi back to his feet.
