Lemme just say that the pacing may seem odd, but it's because there are a lot of jumps. Like, minutes to hours apart type of things happening. I tried softening that by adding timing in, but I'm not sure how well that translated.

A small noise of peeling fabric off of sticky skin made Linwan internally gag a bit. 'Ew...' She looked at the blood soaked fabric then sighed. She remembered how her dad... mentor looked at her as he covered her face. Despite how much it hurt, she really just wanted to lessen his worries. It worked a little... Or did it? He did chuckle at the nickname but it sounded like he wanted to cry instead, so maybe she just made it worse? She shook her head gently then carefully traced the open wound. 'No antibiotics or bandages.' She looked down at her shirt. 'That's fine. I don't need them.' She ripped the bottom part of her shirt and carefully wrapped the left half of her face. It was a bit messy, but she did it, so she was happy enough with it. A moment or two passed before she began meditating again. She found her way to the little girl quicker this time and sat down to the left of the girl, playing with her hands. "Hey kid." The girl looked at her and Linwan realized she could see her a little better, though kept facing forward, only letting the girl see the right of her face. "Huh... You look much softer than that crazy demon. She makes you seem so stiff." The girl looked surprised then tried to speak, clearly testing how far Linwan could better perceive her. "Hmm, sorry kid. Still can't hear you well. It's all... muffled." She leaned back and sighed. "Good to see you so excited about it though. How about we keep trying? I'm sure we'll break through it all eventually." The girl gave a determined look and Linwan found herself chuckling. 'Wonder if that's how Mac sees me.'
It had been a few hours and the two girls were now laid back. "Check, uh... ber 3..." The words muffled out a bit too much, but Linwan's eyes widened before she sat up which caused the girl to follow suit. The two stared at one another for a moment but the girl ended up looking shocked. "...ur fa...? Wh... appen...?" Linwan blinked a few times and tried to piece the words together. "My face?" "Yes. Yo... ace. Wai... ou hea... e?" "Uh... Kind of? It's all fading in and out in muffles. I'm hearing bits and pieces. I... I must be getting used to hearing in here or something." The girl nodded before she held a hand out. "Hm?" "... ld it?" "Hold it? Uh..." She gently grabbed the girl's hand and shuddered at the whispers that surrounded them, but held on anyway. The girl watched then pulled away. "Did i... ork?" Linwan paused then shrugged. "Maybe a little?" She took a moment then got up. "We should take a break. This is a bit tiring now and I don't want to push this too far." "Yo... ight." Linwan must've looked confused because the girl simply nodded after a moment then waved at her. "See ya later kid. Maybe next time you can tell me your name."
Opening her eyes made her confused for a moment before she remembered her bandaged face. 'Right, that...' She looked around with her right eye before looking at the hands in her lap. Sure, she mentioned taking a break due to being tired, but that wasn't exactly true. These meditations always started out tiring but ended up very invigorating the longer she stayed there. Perfect for training. She took a moment to focus on whether there was someone coming or not, then got up and put her hand out. 'Okay, weapon, you came out when I needed you against that prick. Just... come back out.' She closed her eyes and focused further. It began to form but just turned into one of her copies, which made her frown when she opened her eyes. 'Oh, Vi. I thought you were...' The shadow copy tilted its head before suddenly patting Linwan. The girl paused then sighed. 'You wanna help fix these since you're here.' The copy went behind the girl and adjusted her bandages before it tapped the back of her head. She turned around to see the copy melt into a shadow against the wall. 'Thanks.' It shifted its form into Macaque... and Linwan quickly rubbed her right eye. 'Don't make me cry, Vi.' She hugged herself, knowing it wasn't her copy doing this. It was her attempting to comfort herself. She stared at the shadow as it moved around, 'attempting' to summon something. A small sigh came from the girl before she leaned her forehead against the shadow. 'I'll get back to training in a sec, Mac.' She paused then chuckled at the memory of her doing this while they had been teaching her transformations. 'Fifteen minutes then we'll get back to it.'
