Shit begins to go down, but you won't see most of it. Lin has to use her hearing this time. Very useful tool, don't you think?

A twitch of the hand. A minor thing. Boy did it hurt her though. Linwan bit back a whimper as she attempted to open her eyes, but it just wasn't working out for her. Her luck really was on a decline since being captured, huh? It took a bit longer to get more feeling into her body before she could open her eyes slightly. 'Moving this slow... What a pain.' She thought through her haze, but she woke up further when she heard whispers increasing around her. "At last. It is time." She slowly raised a brow to force her her eyelid to open further, forced to watch as LBD blew some bones into the Trigram furnace. "B-but I, I got you ingredients! I-I am the Queen!" Ah, Spider Queen. "You promised me my destiny." "A promise I did not break, my queen. This is your destiny." Finally her vision focused enough to see the Mayor leaning against the furnace as if it were a countertop, a disgusting mixture of magic bubbling within it. Tendrils ripped from inside of it to grasp onto the Spider Queen and drag her in. It cracked and created a massive mech for this demon, making Linwan jolt up quickly and stare at it with wide eyes. Or, as wide as she could get them. "Oh no..." She mumbled as she heard the girl's giggle from all around her. Energy and magic pulsated and made her feel sick to her stomach. Oh boy, did she want to throw up right now... BUT she held it down. "Ah, awake now, child? Good. All of the preparations are complete." "Prep...?" She still found it hard to talk and the pressure around her was not helping. "Worry not, your destiny will be fulfilled." Aaaand now she felt even sicker. Somehow.

She heard it. An ongoing battle. All she could do was listen and feel, so she did. She felt every time MK used his abilities and heard how he grunted every time they were weakened. It worried her, but she tried to listen anyway. "A few weeks ago, I met someone." 'He's telling them?' She heard the group "Ooo" at him before Mei told him to tell them. It was funny enough to get a slightly amused smile out of the girl, but MK sputtered angrily before correcting them. "Not like that! Remember when we fought DBK? Me and Lin said he was different. And Spider Queen attacked and she was stronger? And now Lin didn't come with us to train?" She furrowed her brows at the thought that MK didn't even tell them about her missing, but thought about it and relaxed. He was being dumb and probably thought he could save her on his own without worrying the others. That made her feel a little happy that he'd go through the trouble by himself, even if it was stupid to do so. It was nice. "I was trying to protect you. Keep it a secret." They weren't so different with that. Him with this and her with her training. "It was all this girl. She calls herself..." "The Lady Bone Demon." Linwan winced at the voice and failed to hear the rest of the conversation. That was until she heard the panicked "No!" that came from the young hero. "You did well, MK. Mastered so many powers. It seems you are ready to meet your destiny and-" "Yeah, destiny-shmestiny." 'Pigsy?' She whimpered as she pushed her hearing further to hear them all better. "Pigsy!" 'Tang? What's happening?!' "That was part of the plan. I do apologize for what comes next." She heard the ground and the mech moving and gritted her teeth at how loud it was. It took a moment, but she tried to listen closely anyway. "Alright MKs!" 'Clones?' "Let's get to work." "It's porty time!" She heard the MKs moving about before all the clones became one. "What?" The hero sounded shocked before the scholar spoke loudly. "MK, the more power you use, the more-" "Powerful I become? Very observant." She heard MK grunt and tried moving again, feeling the sting of pain but ignoring it as she moved more. "Gotta... break... out..." She heard MK cry out in pain and she moved more, not caring for the way her new chains dug into her. "MK! Hold on!" "Aw, trying to shrink? That's not going to work anymore." "I'm not going to let you win!" She managed to loosen one chain around her body, but it wasn't enough to move yet. "Come on, Lin. MOVE!" Her ear twitched slightly at MK's voice. "Here... Comes... MONKIE KID!" "His catchphrase?" She wriggled more as she heard the Monkie Mech being made. It didn't take long for her to be brought to the surface as the demon giggled. She heard MK's confusion but couldn't make out the words through the ringing that was caused by LBD's magic. Past the blinding light though, she saw something worse... Monkie Mech was caught in this mech's own hand, broken. "Now do you understand? From the start, you never had what it took to defeat me! All your power could do is make me stronger!" She squeezed her eyes shut until she saw MK from near the true appearance of LBD. "Now, I will undo the memories of this world." "No." MK panicked and sent his staff out but the demon stopped it, making Lin stare at her with wide eyes and... a hint of fear peeked through. That worsened when the staff stopped responding to MK and dropped. "I can't lift the staff!" Bone began to climb up it and Linwan wiggled more, despite being so far off the ground. "MK NO!" He looked up at her with tears in his fear filled eyes, which turned hers from fear to determination. Determination to be strong. To get out. Her eyes flickered mauve for a bit as he begged for this demon to stop. She allowed her to continue talking about destiny as she attempted to break free, but stopped when she heard the whispers scream that someone was coming.
