I had to do it. I had to put the salt meme as the image guys. I was going to put an image of the arena, but the intrusive thoughts when I saw it just had to win.

Linwan had been walking and laughing at her shadow, which was making dramatic movements as she conversated with it, when she paused due to hearing multiple motors coming her way. "What's wrong, kid?" She looked at her mentor, who now looked a bit confused in her shadow, and shrugged. "I thought I heard something." "You're always hearing something." "I get that from the Six-Eared Macaque of all people?" She joked and went back walking, but kept quiet since she could swear she was hearing those motors again. Before she knew what hit her, a few delivery motorbikes rush past her and end up shoving her around, knocking her delivery out of her hands. "HEY!" She turned to see who they were then realized she was surrounded by delivery boys. "Speedy Panda... Finally tired of chasing just MK?" She mocked them a bit with a smug smirked. That stopped when they silently looked at one another then tried to rush in for a jumping. Luckily, MK had whined about them doing this the last few times so she knew to move before they could close in. "What's up with these punks, kid?" "They're a rival restaurant, if you can even call their convenient garbage food. Not sure why but they seem intent on destroying Pigsy's." She rushed towards an alleyway, barely avoiding some of their drive-bys but being hit by others. "Why don't you just beat them down?" "Can't. Pigsy could get in trouble for it!" "So, what's the plan?" "Tactfully retreat into the restaurant." "Good enough plan as any. Still think beating them is on the table though." She snorted at that but kept moving.

Coming into Pigsy's Noodles with slight panting, the girl noticed her coworker and the scholar were there. MK had an ice pack to his face as he grumbled then suddenly yelled. "Oh, I've had it up to here with those Speedy Panda delivery brickheads! They've been sabotaging me all week!" "Well, at least you're not alone in that now MK." The two, and her boss, turned to Linwan who plopped onto one of the stools near the counter. They had paused due to the sight of multiple cuts and scrapes on the girl, but she ignored them to relax for a moment. "They must've gotten annoyed with my delivery performance and stopped focusing solely on MK. They made me drop my last lunch delivery then tried running me over multiple times for most of the way here." As she spoke, Tang had gotten up and began to slowly take care of her minor injuries. "I guess I was just too fast for them. What do you think Tang?" Tang nodded softly as Pigsy and MK continued their ranting. "Glad you didn't get too hurt." "As if. I'm too tough for a few delivery freaks to stop me. Wish I could bust them up though..." She thought about how maybe Macaque's idea wasn't that bad... and her shadow seemed to move in her peripheral as if to spur her on. 'Pff, he's gonna get caught if he keeps going.' Her thoughts were snapped back to the other two workers when her boss seemed to angrily speak. "Pick up the pace? You two are the delivery drivers! You pick up the pace!" "Hey..." Her small whine was ignored as he continued. "Every noodle from Pigsy's Noodle Shop is handcrafted from scratch with love and care. It's what our customers have come to expect." "Don't worry about me, Pigsy. I'm a loyal customer." Tang spoke happily, but that turned into an offended gasp when Pigsy retorted with a "More like a loyal freeloader." "I'm telling ya Pigsy. If something doesn't change, we're gonna be run out of business." MK huffed. "Ah, you two don't get it. At least Lin understands that I've poured my heart into this place. From the pots, to the utensils, even my grandmother's antique windows!" Pigsy pulled down an intricately designed window proudly before a brick flew through it, making Linwan gasp then become angered that such a beautiful thing was broken. "THAT'S IT!" She got up and prepared herself to commit a few felonies in the name of Pigsy's Noodles. Tang reading the letter out made her stop though, more out of confusion than calming down. "The fu-?" Her coworker cut her off so she didn't curse in front of the already angered Pigsy. "So, someone gonna tell us what the donk "Food Wars" is?" "Food Wars." The pig replied in a dark tone. "The ultimate arena for chefs to duke it out. Where the victors are hailed supreme above all others. Speedy Panda," He raised his fist up and called out to the heavens. "I accept your challenge!" "Oh no..." The girl muttered as she glanced at her shadow with an already tired expression.
