Can we get one chapter where these four aren't traumatized? Haha, no. No we can't.

✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄Linwan⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧A male voice sounded throughout the chamber that some hooded figures stood in. "The world has fallen into chaos, and at every step of its descent..." Wukong, Macaque, MK, and Linwan fell into the chamber from a beacon of light. Macaque landed on his feet and Wukong on his knee, but MK landed on his head and Linwan on her butt. This caused both successors to groan and yelp upon landing but the voice continued. "You have been there." Wukong swung an arm out and cleared the dust surrounding them, leading the group to look up at these hooded figures. MK sat up and looked about in confusion. "Wha-? A second ago I was in bed. What's going on?" As Linwan rubbed her tailbone and got up with a glare towards these figures, Wukong spoke up. "Yeah, the guys in the cool robes only strike when you're asleep. Kind of their thing." Wukong put a hand on his hip and Macaque crossed his arms before speaking up. "What do you want?" "Sun Wukong, the Six-Eared Macaque, Linwan the Shadow Monkie-" They ignored the embarrassed grumble from the girl who seemed to ask how they knew about that title she got from the twins. "and MK the Monkie Kid... you have been summoned before the Court of the Underworld to answer for your crimes." Another robed figure, no, a second king of the Court of the Underworld spoke up. "You stand before the Ten Kings, guardians of the great cycle." That made MK turn towards them and Linwan look around to see if there were really ten kings. Yet another spoke up. 'Cute, they continue each others' monologues.' "A cycle which has been disrupted." Wukong lazily crossed his arms and spoke up, starting annoyed then turning smug quickly. "Help me remember. What was it that happened the last time you all brought me here? Oh, right. Things didn't super work out for you." "And as I recalled, you removed your name from the Book of the Dead." "A similar crime has led to this moment. The Scroll of Memory was stolen. Your guilt is obvious." "Wait, are we on trial? Do we need a lawyer?" "MK, no please don-" The boy ignored Linwan's exasperated plea as he gasped and began to ramble as he changed into a lawyer's suit... somehow. "Don't worry. I watched almost every episode of Monkey Cop: Courtroom Edition!" He slicked his hair back with a chuckle as Linwan tiredly put her face in her hands. Of course she knew he watched almost all of it... BECAUSE HE MADE HER WATCH IT TOO! "Uh, your honors. What exactly are the charges?" "Because of your actions, the Jade Emperor fell." "And now the Pillar of Heaven has been irreparably damaged." Wukong frowned. "The Pillar of Heaven?" "We didn't even-" Linwan didn't get to finish her argument as another king spoke loudly. "You stand accused of the destruction of this world." MK let out a nervous chuckle. "Imma- Imma need a minute with my clients." He pulled the other three into a huddle. "Okay, my professional legal advice is... we should leave!" "Hmmm..." The ginger monkey looked around. "Not seeing a door, so I'm just gonna make one." The others backed up a bit as he raised a fist. "We thought you might try some... foolishness to escape justice. And so, we have brought upon a power even greater than yours."
A portal opened from above where Nezha appeared. "Nezha?" MK smiled and waved his arms around excitedly, almost decking Linwan in the face, but she had luckily moved back before he could. "Hey Nezha!" The king next to the two suddenly laughed after failing to hold it in. "This is your big scary?" Nezha looked away before another being appeared, which made the young shadow user stiffen, especially when the Great Sage himself took a step back and stopped laughing. "Uh, okay. A little more powerful than Nezh-ie." "Pagoda-Wielding General, Li Jing... new leader of the Celestial Realm." "Nezha's dad? Nezha, your dad's the new Jade Emperor?" The lotus prince averted his gaze further. "The Jade Emperor cannot be replaced." His father moved in front of him and spoke up. "In his absence, I have been charged with resolving this." "Big ups on the promotion, Li." The monkey king pointed at him with a wink. "I always knew you'd weasel your way to the top!" "The world is on a knife's edge. You add nothing but chaos." "OOOOOBJECTION!" MK pointed an accusatory finger at the deity and Linwan facepalmed. "These idiots..." Her dad simply nodded as MK continued. "Ergo, fee's a fee, we're guilty until proven innocent-" He fumbled a bit. "Oh wait, uh, forget I said that." Li Jing groaned under his breath, making both shadow users ready themselves, but Wukong stood in front of them all quickly. "You know that pagoda of yours isn't gonna be enough to stop us." "Perhaps. There was only one thing that could ever bring the Great Sage to yield, as I've been empowered by the Heavenly Host..." A sigil appeared from his hand before Macaque suddenly ran forward. "STOP!" "I collar the beast!" Wukong yelled out in pain as a circlet suddenly formed and tightened, making the others rush over to him. "MONKEY KING!" "KING!" MK began glitching as Linwan tried her best not to do the same. As she internally panicked and glared at Li Jing, MK outwardly began to panic more. "NO! No, no, no, don't-" She looked over to see Wukong hold his hand. "It's okay, kids. We're okay." He smiled at her then MK which made her ease a little. He was smiling, so he'd be okay enough to move, right? It wasn't like with her Pops again... That thought made her glare at the deity leaving, then softening up a bit upon Nezha looking at them. She knew the prince wouldn't have wanted this, so she couldn't really fault him... his father though. Definitely.
