Having not slept at all last night, Linwan was forced to get herself ready for the day with her head on a swivel. She had felt that presence a few times throughout the night, but it only seemed to watch her, and it usually vanished when her grip on her bat tightened. She had scared it, him? Either way, she still patted herself on the back as she went to eat her breakfast. Unfortunately, it seemed this creature liked her food which left her with much less than she would've had with only her mouth to feed. "When I get home... You bet-ter be gone." She motioned to the window she had left unlocked for it to leave through then took her time to eat. "If not, I'll ki-ck you out my-self." She had to clear her throat before taking another sip of the drink she had with her meal. Again, she felt the presence, but she only heard an annoyed huff in response. 'I should be the only annoyed one here...' She sighed to relax herself then got up and went to get herself ready the rest of the way, then left the apartment, being sure to lock up her door before walking to the market where she was meant to meet up with Pigsy.

The walk to the market managed to ease her quite a bit, though the market made her tense up slightly again. Her hearing was something she was beginning to get used to, seeing as the city never sleeps and neither did she last night, so she definitely had the time to practice. This train of thoughts led to her zoning out as she, Pigsy, and Tang walked together. "Ho ho! Now, kid, this is a beautiful carrot!" Linwan snapped herself out of her thoughts to look at the carrot that Pigsy had. "Couple more finds like this baby and we're golden!" She hummed in agreement before Tang seemed to snatch the carrot from Pigsy and mumbled about it being "the same as the last 20,000 carrots" which made her gasp softly. How could he say that? It was clearly perfect unlike those others! Pigsy seemed to agree by taking the carrot back and giving a gruff response of "I wouldn't expect you to appreciate a fine carrot like this! You ain't no culinary genius." He laughed a bit and motioned at himself as well as Linwan. "Like us!" Linwan nodded quickly with a spark in her eyes, which made Tang deadpan at her. A woman seemed to hear them as she chuckled. "My, my, my! You three are making quite a scene. Looking to buy some ingredients? Something tasty? You've come to the right place." She blew a kiss at them, making Linwan cringe a bit before stepping behind Tang. Tang stared blankly before letting out an "oh" then continuing with a "Come on, Pigsy, let's just keep going. Huh?!" Pigsy was already at the stand and letting out a dumbly lovestruck laugh. "Y-you are selling beautiful vegetables today?" Tang was now at the stand, looking over the decrepit state of everything then at Pigsy. "Are you blind?" As the two spoke, Linwan glared at the woman from where she had stayed and the woman seemed to glare right back before speaking to Pigsy. "That's right, sugar, this is the finest store in the whole market. Why don't you come around back and look at my exclusive wears?" She then backed away and Tang looked at Linwan before gently holding her hand, as if he were ready to scurry off. "Pigsy, I'm not sure, uh-" "May-be, we don't do-" Pigsy turned to the two and spoke in an obviously desperate manner as he cut Linwan off, "Don't wreck this for me! I need this!" Tang gasped softly then huffed as Pigsy walked further in. Tang and Linwan shared a glance that seemed to have an entire conversation. 'Think we should go with him?' 'Kinda have to Tang...' 'I hate this.' 'Agreed.' They followed him as the woman urged them closer. Pigsy and Tang screamed as they fell and Linwan gave a squeak, the woman laughing at their unfortunate circumstances.
