The realms trembled and the sky began cracking more, opening up to an abyss that could only spell disaster for all the beings that existed. Peng chuckled as Mei and Macaque stood there feeling a multitude of things, then they opened their wings and took to the sky. "Look, this has been fun and all but... here's some advice, kids. Never be the last one to leave the party." Mei bowed her head before growling, her sword glinting a dangerous green. "How dare you." She used her dragon form to blast an intense green beam of fire and energy. "My friends are in danger because of you! And you're not even gonna stick around to finish the job?!" The bird dodged as much as they could before the dark furred monkey spoke up. "Mei!" She let out a confused hum and looked over at him as he continued. "Let them go. After all, you always were the most cowardly of the bunch." He smirked and went to walk away, giving Peng no more attention than that of a bug. "You dare turn your back on me?" They practically snarled as they dove to take the monkey out, but he turned and huffed in amusement as his smirk turned dangerous. His illusion over his eye was removed, revealing his scar and allowing the blind eye to shine a bright purple as he used that energy to then summon his large smoke avatar. Mei quickly used her dragon form to loop around and lean over the avatar to add onto the intimidation, which caused Peng's feathers to fluff. The moment allowed time for a bright blue flash to appear on the mountain, making the bird look back before glaring at the two. "You're not worth the effort." They took off quickly and Macaque let out a sigh as he crossed his arms. 'Wonder how Li will feel about him getting away.' "Alright." He decided to focus on the mountain. "We should regroup with the others." "Way ahead of ya!" He turned to see her over his shoulder and his eyes widened upon Mei's dragon form opening its toothy maw, remembering just how it happened last time. It snapped down on him, making him grunt in surprise, before it blasted ahead to the others.

In the forest clearing, Team B and Yellowtusk stared at the mountain to see the same blue glow. "Yellowtusk! The universe..." Tang lost his voice for a moment before quickly continuing. "Azure is tearing it to pieces. If we don't stop him now, there's no winner in this fight. We all lose." He looked at the elephant desperately and the elephant closed his eyes. "It is too late. This damage is irreversible. There is no hope." "Woah, hey friend." Sandy pat his shoulder and he responded by scowling at the blue demon, but the sweet demon continued anyway. "That's not really how we roll around here." "Yeah! We got this sayin', that so as long as we're still standing, there is always hope!" Pigsy spoke confidently as he helped Tang stand up properly, getting a small nod from the scholar. "A dangerously naïve notion... but one I'm open to entertaining." Yellowtusk gave them back their weapons, making everyone speak at the same time as they finally summoned up their own armors. "Woah, sweet!" "Woah! My golden jangily!" "About time!" Tang then readied his khakkhara, causing him to gain armor. "B Team! Move out!" He used his powers to summon a golden orb that whisked them away to the others.

"Hurry, King! I hear struggling in there!" "I'm moving as fast as I can!" Linwan looked over and saw the group standing in front of the cracked Shuilian Cave, having themselves braced due to the pressure there. "Well, my time to jump off!" Wukong looked back at her for a moment before he nodded and looked ahead. She focused hard as they dove past the group, and as soon as the two were nearing the rock, they both hopped off the cloud. Wukong rolled and rushed ahead, jumping from rock to rock and swinging from chain to chain before kicking through the last bit of stone. Meanwhile, Linwan rolled and immediately slid to a stop before looking up towards the way Wukong went. Okay, so maybe she jumped off too late. That's fine, she'd just move back quickly.
