Macaque glanced at Linwan and she gave a nod in return before she looked at the three in front of them. She muttered quietly. "I'll get Tusk. You get Peng." She got a muttered "yeah" in response and took a moment to exhale slowly. She took a sharp inhale when she saw the Brotherhood make a move, dove into her shadows, then quickly appeared in front of Yellowtusk. She kicked the elephant and he stumbled into a portal she formed. "Nothing personal, Tusk!" He went through the portal fighting and Linwan ended up on the brunt end of that attack, hissing in the pain she now had in her side. She looked over to see Macaque tackle Peng into his own portal before those two and Mei were gone. Unfortunately, that seemed to anger Azure who immediately threw scroll pieces at her, but she simply moved into the shadows and dragged Team B in with her. Once they were all dropped into their necessary area, she began following MK and Wukong in their fight with the angry lion.

Peng laughed as they battled Macaque, throwing him into a cliff wall as they sent golden feathers to quickly follow. "I don't know how you stomach it, brother! The Six-Eared Macaque, fighting side by side with his own replacements!" As that bird brain spoke, Macaque dodged the feathers and slid down the wall into a portal. He portaled behind Peng, slightly above them, and slammed his cudgel down. It met with the bird's golden wings. "Is there anything Wukong could do that would break his hold over you? Pathetic!" He swung his wing out which sent the monkey flying, but he managed to slide to a stop upon landing. Their ji hit the formed cudgel, a crater forming itself under the monkey as a result. "You know what, Peng?" He smirked as he brought Mei out of his own shadow where she readied her blade while she was still hidden from the bird. "Straight up, I have never liked you." Mei took her cue to rush from behind him, her sword glowing brightly as she swung and sent that energy out towards Peng. They barely managed to dodge, but the electric aftershock managed to hit them pretty hard. "You little brat." "Give it a rest, would ya?!" Her eyes glowed a bright green before she let out a war cry that summoned her dragon form, forcing Peng to retreat into the skies as the dragon readied a blast. Once readied, Mei fired the blast and Macaque shielded his face from the display. Peng lowered the wings that shielded them from the blast and smiled. "I'm surprised a descendant of Ao Lie has so much bark!" They opened their wings to let out the rest of the energy that was thrown their way. "Your bite, however, needs some work. Perhaps, I can give you some pointers!"

A cloud of dust and dirt flew up as a golden orb moved away from it, bouncing a few times before revealing a crouched Sandy, a sitting Pigsy, and a tired Tang who promptly fell to his hands and knees. A moment after, Yellowtusk landed in front of them. "Surrender, mortals! My strength far outweighs yours!" Sandy stood up and summoned his powers, causing his necklace's large beads to come off and surround him in magenta flamed orbs. We don't want to fight you, Mr. Elephant. But-" "But we will if we have to!" Pigsy got up and readied himself. The elephant let out a roar as he raised and dropped his hammer down on them. "No!" Tang yelled out as he created a shield that protected them, then let the shield vanish before speaking again. "If we don't stop him then-" Yellowtusk cut him off. "I know full well what will happen should Azure fail, but... but he is my brother. I owe him my life." "We get it. I'd do anything to help my friends. But, at the cost of the world?" Sandy looked at him sympathetically, and Pigsy waved his arms out as if to say 'no'. "I'm sorry, pal. But nothing is worth that price." A piece of the Scroll of Memory landed behind Team B, making the elephant perk up before he looked back to see more pieces rain down on them. The scholar barely had enough time to make a shield large enough and strong enough to block the pieces properly.
