Linwan smirked at the three men she had just beat down, resting her cudgel gently on her shoulders as she crouched in front of them. "Now, as I was saying-" She put a hand to her chin. "You're all wearing old clothes. That, combined with everything else must mean that I'm in the past somehow. I doubt I actually traveled back in time though. After all, the last thing I remember is being sucked into that scroll. Then again, artifacts do strange things." She glanced at one of the men who was closer to her own physique then shrugged. "Hiding wouldn't hurt. Just until I find everyone else." She took the time to study the man until she tried her best to copy his looks. "Dammit. I didn't take the time to study his voice..." She gently poked him but he didn't move, so she sighed. "Oh well. I'll just have to act mute when I'm in any villages." The young warrior stood up and began walking down the mountain. "Thanks for the minor warm-up boys! It was fun!"

Thirty minutes. That's how long she had walked before running into a large fox... wolf? looking demon that snickered at her. "What are you doing alone, boy?" 'Boy?... Oh right, I took that one man's appearance.' She shook her head then went back to walking, but a tail came out from behind the demon and sent her flying back. She winced with a small hiss as she sat up then huffed at him. "Asshole... Of course he wouldn't just let me pass by." She got up fully then glared at the demon before popping her knuckles. "How'd that feel, boy?" "I've been hit by King and dad before. That pathetic slap doesn't even hurt anymore." "You have quite the voice. More feminine than I'd assume." She rolled her eyes at that but ended up moving to the side when the demon tried to cut into her with its claws. As soon as she took a step, she turned on the ball of her foot and sent her other boot into its snout and sent it pretty far. It shook its head when it got up, giving her time to crouch and let go of the illusion around herself. "See, dumbass, shadows don't travel alone." She opened her jacket to create enough shade to have a couple pairs of mauve eyes shine from within it. "Those abilities... What are you?" Her eyebrow twitched at this. "The demon is asking what I am? Real rich!" She sent out the shadow copies of herself and they quickly pinned the demon down after some tussling. Linwan dusted herself off as she walked over. "How about you do yourself a favor..." It glared at her but she just gave it a toothy smile that was bordering a sneer, gently placing her foot against the back of its neck as a threat. "Tell me where the nearest village is."
It had taken a while to force that demon into telling her anything, but she left pretty satisfied, even if the demon wasn't as lucky. Actually... That feeling of pride in breaking that demon's arm was making her a bit disgusted in herself, even if they'd been warned multiple times. She shook her head. "The time period is during the original journey... And the village is right over here. Somewhere." She distracted herself from those emotions of hers, opting to focus on the most important information. "The monk was seen in these parts with two children before vanishing in a golden light." Two children. That was confusing, but Linwan thought for a bit longer. "Mei and MK? They must've come in to find everyone else." She was a bit lost in that thought. "Hope they're all okay. MK and Mei are strong. Sounds like Tang Sanzang was with them too. That's a bit odd though. I figured he'd be with King or..." She stopped and put a hand to her chin. "Oh- I wonder if Tang is the monk. Maybe that demon just confused them?" She shook her head clear of those thoughts before walking ahead towards the village. Unfortunately, more demons blocked the way and surrounded her this time which made her groan. 'Annoying...' She glanced back at the one she assumed was the leader and stared at him. "What do you want?" Another demon stumbled over as they held their broken arm. "That's them!" "... Really? You cried to big brother? What kind of demon are you?" A pair of claws tried to slice into her, but her ears twitched and she moved to the side. "Look, I've fought faster and stronger than you. For all of our sakes, and to save time... Just let me go to the village." "There is no village." She softly smiled before her annoyance showed. "Excuse me? Are you implying the injured one lied?" "These are our hunting grou-" Before they finished, Linwan had jabbed the flat end of her cudgel into the injured one's chest and sent them stumbling. She growled softly as she glared at them. She then took a deep breath and eased herself into a more composed expression. "Sorry. I lost my cool for a moment there. Aha, I really don't want to fight right now so let's try this again!" She smiled happily and held her hand out. "How about you give me proper directions and I'll be on my way!" "Not before we tear you apart!" She sighed in disappointment. "I figured..."
