I do imagine that some of these episodes take place days to weeks apart, so I'll be adjusting my chapters to that and letting you all know when there are major changes, such as the "past few weeks" line in the chapter below. I'll also be adding a new symbol for POVs. Here's the symbol:

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽Macaque's Dojo☽ .* :☆゚. ───
A calm quiet surrounded the two beings that were currently meditating, no noise happening between them aside from their heartbeats and breathing. This was a familiar quiet that Linwan had gotten used to over the past few weeks and, well, she'd be lying if she said she didn't like using it as a break away from her overly energetic friends as well as work. Once she heard the soft lashing of a tail then the rustling of clothes, she slowly opened her eyes to look at her mentor. "Done already?" She snickered softly at the soft, but smug tone her mentor gave. "You're the one who moved, Macadamia." With that, Macaque huffed at her in an annoyed but amused way. "That's true, bright eyes." She slowly stretched her legs and rubbed at them gently before getting up and dusting off her clothes. "Besides... I have to get to Sandy's then work." She paused. "Sandy says I'm al-most set." "With your voice, right?" She hummed softly as she nodded. "He said it's just the cracking now. I'm a bit... surprised I managed to get a handle on it so quickly." Macaque got up and made his back pop. "Well, it's a good thing you did, isn't it?" "Yep!" He rolled his shoulders, causing very small pops that the two could easily hear, even if no one else could. "Well then, since you're so ready for today," he walked over and gave a smirk as he put an arm around her. "Why don't I teach you something new? It'll be easy, I promise." She hummed as if she were thinking then looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes. "Let's do it!" He chuckled at her then walked over to one of the walls, hearing Linwan follow behind him quickly. "We're going to bring out a shadow." "Hm? What do you mean by that?" His answer was to simply make a shadow of himself appear. This being looked exactly like its creator, though it was much darker, losing almost all sense of color aside from a very dark purple that covered it, with bright glowing purple circles for eyes and a similarly glowing outline that hummed with magic. "Woah..." The one being had another appear next to it as Macaque brought out another. "Meet Rumble and Savage, two of my shadows." And like that, Linwan was gently checking these copies out like a curious kitten that found something foreign. "You named them?" "Of course." The two simply held a smug smirk until she poked one on the cheek and it gave a surprised expression. She giggled softly at the sudden change then turned to Macaque.
The girl took a moment before she clapped her hands together softly, just so it wouldn't be too loud. "When do I learn this?" She softly bounced on her heels. "I'm healed up enough to start, right?" "You sure are, kid." He gently patted her head... then ruffled her hair which got a sort of squawk from the poor girl before she tried to fix her hair. "Now, sit down and focus on your shadow. You'll know when it's working." "No more explaining huh?" "Nope." "... Is it a feeling type of thing?" He nodded softly so she nodded back in understanding, then walked past the shadows who watched her before looking at Macaque. He seemed to huff at something and sent them away as Linwan sat down. "Alright, just need to focus on my shadow." She spoke softly to herself then took a small breath in and closed her eyes. She eventually let the breath out before getting her breath to even out, leaving Macaque to lean against the wall and watch her shadow. Nothing happened for a while and he was about to say something, but stopped when she touched the shadow and focused further. A hand gently pushed into Linwan's own, but it seemed like it was extremely weak as her hand didn't move much. Still, she gently held its hand and attempted to do more, but it all sucked back into the shadow as if it were quicksand. This, unfortunately, dragged the girl into it as well who squeaked in response but even that squeak got up off due to the shadows sucking in everything the girl had to offer. Now that made the monkey panic as he quickly tried to follow.
