Man, halfway through the season already. Crazy how fast (but probably not for you all) it can all go when you're the one writing it all out.

✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄Linwan⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧"Okay, I appreciate you being secretive for the sake of dramatics, but are we there yet?" Linwan raised her brow at the king who only nodded in return. Before she could make a snarky remark, he dove down and she ended up squeaking as they quickly approached the ground. Luckily, he stopped the nimbus before they could become one with the ground, but he then jumped off and she landed on her face. She sat up as she rubbed her forehead then scowled at him. "Hey, it's not my fault that you said we'd train then whisked me away to do something totally not training." She paused when she realized some of her hair was in her face and moved it before looking around. "Where did it-?" A small whistle made her look over at the ginger monkey who was a bit away from her before her eyes widened into an owlish look when he held out the ribbon styled hair tie. "When did you-?" He tied it around his wrist with little issue then smirked smugly at her. "King. Don't you dare." "Catch me and you can have it back." "King, give it back." His smirk widened a little bit before it turned into an oddly familiar shit eating grin, then he was suddenly taking off as an eagle. "KING!" Linwan took a running start before changing into a hawk and chasing after him. It didn't take long for her to tackle him claws first, locking the two into a battle in the air. She looked as annoyed as a bird could but he looked like this was a fun game... That annoyed her more so she pulled back and tucked in her wings to drag him down. He let her but started to spin them before he suddenly let go and dove into the water to become a silver carp.

✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄Wukong⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Wukong poked his head out of the water and looked around. 'Where did she go?' A shadow casted itself over him and he turned to see a rather angry looking oriental stork. He quickly swam off but the bird followed him, right on his tail. She pecked at the water then paced a bit when he dove further than she could reach. It didn't take long for her to turn into a so-iuy mullet and follow him in though. It was obvious she wasn't used to turning into fish with how she was so focused on swimming, but with her gaining, he decided to speed up a bit more before swimming circles around her and launching himself out of the water. She jumped out and flopped onto the ground before turning back to her normal self. He chuckled at her when she gave an annoyed sighed. "King! Come on! I'm not going through this field just to find your ass!" He held his chuckles in when she was clearly listening for a response. "If I have to look for a butterfly or something, I swear I'll-" The young warrior suddenly stopped then seemed to think before crouching into the tall grass. He shifted a bit to show her where he was then transformed into a small mouse and scurried off a bit. What he didn't expect was a Chinese green snake to slither around his form. When did she get so good at sneaking about? She flicked her tongue in clear amusement but he suddenly ran, making her slither after him. As he listened out, he heard a snarl that indicated she turned into a wolf as Macaque had before and sped up. He turned into a rabbit to be faster but she ended up tackling him, which made them both roll before he was above her as a bear. Her eyes widened a bit before they narrowed, leading him to snort and run off with her getting up to chase him again. He listened out for her next transformation before he was suddenly pounced on by a jaguar. They wrestled a bit before they both rolled away from one another and transformed into their normal selves. "So," he leaned on a nearby tree, "give up?" "Aw, you saying that so we can stop? No way." She lowered her stance a bit. "You started this." A large shadowy aura casted itself over her before he saw she... was a Cashmere goat. "Pff. HAHAHA! Really?! A goat?!" She gave an annoyed expression before suddenly headbutting him, making him fall back and rub his forehead with a laugh. "Alright, alright." She hesitated then huffed before turning into herself again and holding her hand out. He held his hands up then gave the hair tie back before quietly watching her put her hair up. "You've gotten really good with transformations." "Yeah, well, it's something you learn quick when your dad trains you until you're sore for the rest of the day." "Yeesh, that rough?" She shrugged with a small smile. "It's fun to get carried away sometimes. Makes the meals even better."
