Chapter 202 - Always & Forever

"Hello??! Ash... Ash... Ash..." Stefan waves a hand in front of his friend's face... the friend who is rendered speechless and in complete shock, looking ahead at the marquee entrance.

"If only Heeju knew the power she held." Emery giggles.

"Should I call Jungkook and ask what we should do? I bet he'd know." Hobi asks, pushing the turquoise rimmed sunglasses onto his head. The frames were specifically chosen to match his suit which blended in nicely with the suit that his boyfriend was wearing. Hobi's trousers and blazer were white with a watercolour stripe of pink down one side and a stripe of turquoise down the other side from shoulders to ankles. He didn't want to wear a formal shirt so a plain white t-shirt and white Gucci loafers completed his look.

"We can't disturb JK. He'll be having a last second panic with Billy and Marie. Ash will be fine and if he faints we can use it against him forever." Emery laughs. He'd chosen his suit first, the rainbow theme was perfect for him. His shoes were patent white, the trousers a vibrant, bright, hot pink. The blazer matched the trousers at the hem, becoming paler towards the waist before the colour changed into a pastel yellow then into turquoise across the shoulders. Once he'd decided that his hair should be turquoise and pink, he knew that his boyfriend's suit should have a similar vibe.

Stefan and Ash weren't as bold as the casting director and his boyfriend, both opting for suits that were a shade of blue. Ash's cornflower blue trousers and jacket were the best option when the other choice was a pastel pink and Stefan's duck egg blue attire was preferred to the peach. Their girlfriends were the masterminds behind their outfits and the guys were pleased to have had a choice, (even if they know the girls are always right).

Ash has flashbacks of the first time he met Heeju as she walks into the marquee. He was a gawking halfwit then, too. That day in the diner, he could never have dreamed that he'd actually be her boyfriend and now eight months later, here he was, feeling lightheaded as the most beautiful girl in the world stole the oxygen from the air.

The two piece outfit looked different hanging in their room. When it was on the hanger in a clear plastic cover, it was a mass of pastel pink, blue and yellow fabric. Now it was a cropped top with shoestring straps with a narrow band of tanned midriff acting as the break before the floor length mermaid skirt with its cascading ruffles at the back. Ash thought his girlfriend looked like a pastel Goddess and he needed to sit down.

Heeju would describe her outfit as relief after a fashion nightmare. She knew what she wanted but finding it was a real challenge. Usually in those circumstances, she would've asked her mother to help her but Ara was busy with the grooms suits. She considered Jimin but at the time he was still pining for Yoongi and he was busy with Serendipity but a conversation with Muyeol led to Jin helping out and putting her in touch with a designer who knew exactly what she needed... and what she needed was two outfits in one because she didn't want to be away from the celebrations for a second. So, that was why underneath her skirt was a pair of pastel pink capri pants for the theme park part of the day.

"Ash, are you going to be okay?" Stefan asks his friend. He'd enjoyed watching the romance blossom between Ash and Heeju. He had plenty of friends and so did Angel but their friendship with Ash and Heeju as a group of two couples was special. It made things interesting at work when his boss was complaining about his sister when Stefan already knew about the situation and expected it if they'd spent time with the youngest Kim beforehand. Stefan liked that he could now read between the lines with the CEO who would often say one thing but his expression said something else. A lot had changed since he first started at Purple Aura and he felt proud to be at the wedding of his boss surrounded by the friendship group that he was now part of.

Heeju lit up the area as she spoke to staff, her hair is partly braided and twisted, sections pinned into place with delicate flowers. It isn't just her make-up that makes her glow, her personality shines and everyone that comes into contact with her feels it. She exudes confidence, even in a room full of strangers, which was awe inducing for someone so young.
