"It's been a while since I've worn anything that resembles a uniform" Soo-im states, looking at the grey tabard that she's wearing.

"I can't recall the last time I wore something without a designer label." Nuri adds.

"I do hope this is all worth it, Nuri. At least they can't simply leave or throw us out and I am not getting thrown overboard, even for you,my dear friend."

"Why would we be the ones targeted? I haven't done anything wrong!" She'd been a good mother... up to a point. When she'd
turned up to the hospital and seen her three boys with their Stepfather, it brought home how much she'd missed out on. Her boys were deserving of a sibling relationship but they'd missed out when Jungkook left home. Nuri refused to accept responsibility for her youngest son's departure. That was on him... that was his decision.

But she could've told them where he was, made contact with him, given them the chance to have that brotherly relationship?!

It was tiresome when everyone made her the target of blame. It amazed her how the anger wasn't aimed at Jung-Yoo for always choosing money over them. It was an easy deal on Jungkook's eighteenth. Jung-Yoo was more than willing to talk figures and he couldn't wait to ghost his sons and concentrate on his new family. Yet the three boys, now men, didn't react at the legal company when their father once again accepted money in place of family and honesty.

Nuri was the innocent party and she was frustrated that her sons wouldn't hear her out. She'd been left with no options, she knew they would be together at the wedding so it was the perfect opportunity to confront them and plead her case. She was their mother, the one that gave them life and continued to give them luxury when their father proved to be a pathetic waste of space. She married an upstanding gentleman who treated them as his own, stepping into the role of their father figure... the very same man who had frustratingly chosen her own sons over her in the end... leaving her with only the clothes on her back.

Soo-im places a hand on Nuri's shoulder, "My dear friend, I understand that you are the innocent bystander but you must accept that the boys have had their minds altered so we will be unwelcome guests... uninvited ones. It has been easy for them to avoid your calls but they cannot ignore you when you are standing in front of them, away from dry land."

Nuri covers her face with a tissue, she looks at the floor, rolls her eyes but dabs at her face. She does like Soo-im but her preference to show support through touch and sympathy was a little too much. Soo-im was a good ally, she was quite gullible, overshared her life story and had a big home. It was of no surprise that her husband cheated on her and it was laughable when his excuse was that they'd agreed on a polyamorous marriage so he thought it was acceptable to bed other women? The man was an idiot but then so was the woman that believed everything that came out of his mouth.

When Nuri started attending the support group for women, she'd had expectations that there would be people in a worse position than she was and that's what she'd found. The women in the group were there for a variety of reasons, ranging from the death of a loved one to divorce and then there was the woman who'd travelled abroad to have plastic surgery, only to find out that a better term for the 'surgeon' was 'butcher'.

Nuri couldn't even remember why Soo-im was attending the group? She'd managed to latch onto the woman whose son disappeared on his eighteenth birthday and that was that... until suspicions around her husband's infidelity surfaced and then Nuri could support her in return.

"The plan is to follow the staff and then find somewhere to hide out of sight?" Nuri asks.

"Yes. I have been told that there will be a walkthrough for staff who haven't worked on Euphoria before. Several of the staff are the regulars who work for Taehyung, they know the layout." Soo-im repeats what her friend told her.
