Chapter 282 - Out of Left Field.

"Fuck sake!" Jungkook exclaims, albeit with a smile on his face.

A mortified Eunji stands just inside the office, having entered the room a second before, "I apologise... I'll come back, Sir."

Jungkook jumps up from where he was perched on his husband's desk, "no, no!" he waves his mobile at the P.A who looked like she was about to cry, "my family keep interrupting. I would never say that... you have more right to be here than I do."

Taehyung thought the exchange was amusing and highly entertaining... not the fact that Eunji looked upset but more so his husband's panic and the timing of the situation. "Yes, Eunji?"

Jungkook felt flustered as the P.A, in her knee length, palm tree print shift dress and square heeled court shoes, walked cautiously across the office, towards them.

"I was just leaving, Sir and I had some messages for you. Mr Choi said I should always tell you I was leaving for the day... if you were here... of course."

"Thank you." Tae hopes that the messages are written down or not connected to the business trip that he hadn't yet told his husband about. It was stupid... he was slipping back into old habits but he couldn't bring himself to have that conversation with the man he loved.

Eunji read from her tablet, the brightness of the screen giving her a much paler complexion than she actually had. "I have made changes to your schedule next week, as requested and Mr Yang will be coming in before he flies back to Busan. Shadow Sounds have requested a meeting about the fundraiser plans, I have advised them that you have nothing available until April. There is a new production company that has made an appointment about a campaign for their new drama. They have put together a summary which should have arrived by email. The man on the phone was very enthusiastic about it. He said they expect to sweep many awards for it."

Taehyung wiggles the mouse under his palm and glances at the 32-inch display that comes to life. "Is it from Camouflage?"

"Yes, Mr Kim, Sir. That's them."

"I have the file."

"He really was very excited."

"Hopefully the nature of the industry won't dampen that."

Eunji smiles, "The messages from your voicemail have all been dealt with and I haven't forgotten that I will be meeting with Bo-Hyun first thing, to check in with him in your absence."

"Have you got enough to do tomorrow? I have spoken to the manager of web design and you can spend the afternoon with the team if you would like to? I was informed that you are interested in programming?"

"Yes, Sir! That would be wonderful!"

"I heard that you gave some helpful advice whilst minuting a meeting in the department and it got me thinking. I believe we should encourage staff who have a talent or interest in other areas. Imagine if you were a highly skilled programmer? Imagine if you preferred that environment and role? I would rather hire another P.A in that instance."

"Thank you. Programming is really just a hobby. I enjoy being your P.A."

"Enjoy your afternoon with the team tomorrow. I think all staff members should have the opportunity to experience other departments. Perhaps that is something we can organise for later this year?"

"Yes, Sir. I can work on that with Mr Choi. I will make a note of it and do some research."

"Come back to me with feedback."

Eunji bows, more times than she would have liked but she was grateful. She'd never intended for the job to be permanent but she liked her boss and everyone she'd come to meet was so friendly. It wasn't difficult to locate the purple tower from the nearest metro station, the pay was decent and if she was offered the opportunity to work as a programmer, she wouldn't have to leave the company at all.
