Chapter 220 - Future Plans

"No way?" Jungkook says, excited as they walk hand in hand to a meeting point.

"You're excited?"

"Seriously? It sounds amazing!"

Tae's smile is so wide and boxy that his cheeks already begin to complain. He surprised Jungkook with a private sea safari tour today and was expecting a little bit of resistance due to the cost. You didn't need to be Einstein to work out that it wasn't a cheap excursion on a private chartered boat with staff but Tae really didn't want to do a group thing with strangers. He spent enough time mixing with people when he was at work and this honeymoon was about them, no one else. They'd ventured into the main resort a couple of times and that was enough and they only did that so they could walk around the boutiques and Tae had booked a table at the michelin starred restaurant. Tae had seen enough people so he didn't want to spend any more time with others unless it was necessary and there was no other option.

Thankfully he had the money to ensure that they didn't have to!

"We could see Humpback whales today."

"That's so special! Thank you!"

"And we have a picnic to enjoy before coming back here."

"This is a great surprise, Tae."

Jungkook was so excited. Today they'd divided the day into two and they were both surprising each other. Jungkook's plans were after dark so it made sense to split the day in two.

"Kookie?"

The dancer prepares himself for whatever was coming next because he knows that Tae usually starts a sentence with that to lighten the mood. "Yeah?"

Before Tae can speak, they are ushered onto a boat and the couple are both distracted by the news that the floor has a window in it. "Like a reverse sun roof." Tae says with a giggle.

"As long as they don't open it, I think we'll be fine." Jungkook says.

"True." Tae responds.

They walk to a seating area where they are offered cocktails in coconuts and they sit, waiting for the boat to leave the shore.

"What did you want to ask me?" Jungkook enquires, grimacing as the alcoholic fruity liquid hits his taste buds. "Woah! This is strong."

"But yummy." Tae adds.

"Yeah, it's nice."

"Tae... what were you going to ask me before?"

"I wondered, Kookie... when you are going to tell me about our plans this evening?" he gives his best 'I'm innocent, please tell me' look.

Jungkook laughs out loud, which was not the reaction the CEO was expecting and he frowns, "Are you mocking me, Kookie?"

"Yeah! What's with the pouty, puffy face?"

"I will be filing for divorce before we have finished our honeymoon at this rate... I do not pout and is my face really puffy?" He reaches up and touches his face with his left hand.

Jungkook laughs more, "Sorry... I forgot that you don't pout... your face is beautiful."

The CEO frowns and glares at his new husband, "Flattery will not get you anywhere, Jungkook."

"Stop making me laugh!" Jungkook responds as he laughs again.

"Are you going to tell me what our plans are? Not that I feel like joining you."

Jungkook nearly chokes on his drink. This was the funniest situation! Another form of role play where he knows full well that Tae has no intention to ditch him tonight and the claim that the CEO doesn't pout is one that always makes the dancer laugh. He's heard Heeju deny it, too so his only conclusion is that it's a Kim family trait. Jungkook cannot help but feel endeared by his sulky, bratty husband.
