Chapter 225 - Getting Up To Speed

"It really has been great to have you back, Mr Kim, Sir, Taehyung."

Heeju giggles, "What he said, Doodle." she says, pointing with her thumb in Stefan's direction.

"I would say it is good to be back but it isn't..." Tae says. He'd been on the phone or in a meeting since Jungkook dropped him off this morning and the positives were that the morning had passed quickly. The negatives were that he missed his new husband (which was expected).

Heeju rolls her eyes, "At least I don't have to put up with him while he's pining." she says to Stefan.

"He's allowed to pine... it won't be the first time." Stefan says honestly.

"I would ask your boss for a raise just for putting up with that shit." Heeju laughs.

"He pays me pretty well."

"Is it enough, though?"

Tae watches and listens to his sister and P.A before he interrupts. "Have you both finished?"

"Maybe?" Heeju states.

Tae pushes his ramen away as they sit on the couches in his office. "It isn't a crime to miss someone, especially when you have spent the last two weeks with them every single day... without the interruption of annoying people."

"Apologies, Sir."

Heeju playfully smacks Stefan's arm, "Don't apologise. You were doing so well being out of employee mode for a minute there!"

"Can you not? Assaulting my staff is not acceptable."

"Ugh! Stop being so grumpy, Doodle! Is hotty this miserable?"

"I am not miserable!"

Stefan giggles, wanting to move the conversation on before the siblings start fighting. "We met Sukmin while you and Jungkook were away. He's really sweet."

Heeju claps her hands together, "Oh he is! I love him!"

"I look forward to meeting him. I believe we are going to the diner this week because my twice husband needs to collect his car."

"Twice husband? That's hilarious!" Heeju states, "You are so mushy! If I'd have known that my brother would turn into this when he found love, I wouldn't have hoped for it to happen as hard as I did."

Stefan starts to believe that the subject matter is irrelevant as the siblings would bicker anyway. "Ash has been so good with Sukmin, he's been to the diner practically every day."

"My boyfriend is pretty fantastic."

The sound of cymbals crashing comes from Stefan's pocket, "That's my alarm, my lunch is over. Thank you for lunch. I will debrief you tomorrow morning but I think you are probably all caught up after the meeting with Bo-Hyun this morning. I don't have much more to add and your diary speaks for itself. I am meeting with Raphael this afternoon because he has had an enquiry from a magazine in England and I'm translating for him. If you need anything let me know, Sir... Mr Kim."

"Thank you, Stefan. I might catch you before Jungkook picks me up today, if not, I will speak with you in the morning."

Stefan stands, bows and walks to the office door, collecting the empty lunch cartons as he goes.

"He's so funny." Heeju says as the office door closes.

"When is your alarm going off?" Tae asks his sister.

"It isn't... I'm going to sit here and annoy you for longer." she says, raising her eyebrows and glaring at her brother.

"What's happening with you? Is there an update on America?"
