Jungkook had a smile that the cheshire cat would be proud of as he stepped out into the Valentines day sunlight. The air is fresh but it's exactly what he needs after spending the last twelve or more hours in an apartment that reeked of sex.

Leaving Taehyung when he was without clothing was a challenge of the highest order. His husband's skin was divine, his scent was intoxicating and when he fluttered his eyelashes... he was the embodiment of temptation. His husband was the devil. It was something he's said many times and something he believed was true (and Taehyung was welcome to deny it as much as he liked).

Jungkook was grateful for the time that the couple had spent together, it was a rarity but a positive outcome of having busy lives, was that they both put extra effort into ideas for dates. He suspected that Tae wouldn't be cooking for him for a while, if at all... and if he did, it would be japchae... with Jungkook's tutoring.

Running through the streets wasn't ideal but he could go around the busier areas, down hidden streets between concealed restaurants and homes. He would always find a coffee shop or BBQ place that he didn't know existed and he had a list on his phone that was added to each time he went for a run. There was no way that he'd take his husband to these places. Tae would protest and tell Jungkook that he'd be happy to go but the CEO would hate it... he might not admit it, but he would, so Jungkook planned to make the hidden gems, future venue options for a meal with Ash, who wasn't fussy, especially if he wasn't paying!

There was a time when Jungkook thought that he wanted to change his husband. The elitist nature that came with wealth bothered the dancer. There was an air of arrogance around the filthy rich that instantly irked him. He only had to think back to the charity gala and the first time he met the group... they displayed the traits that he hated, most of which was aimed at him... the prostitute on Tae's arm. They were still those people, the ones who thought the answer to their problem was to offer him a large sum of money. Jin and Namjoon had found love since then and Jin's personal journey was slow moving, yet impressive... However, they were still the people that turned their noses up if a restaurant offered them yellowfin tuna instead of bluefin. The difference being, that these days, Jungkook chose when to spend time with them and he usually ended up with a headache from the eye rolling and the constant blushing. Embarrassment was the result of the group being 'themselves' and from his husband's shameless admissions... he preferred to save his sanity where possible.

Jungkook thought it was healthy that they had their own friendship groups... Taehyung was very much welcome to his. With Yoongi and Jimin's impending move, the group would have to work harder if they wanted to meet up. That was down to them and there were plenty of ideas, including an annual card game. Jungkook surprised his husband when he told him that he taught himself how to play poker when he was much, much younger. He watched his appa play once. A group of men sitting outside in the early evening warmth, soju flowing, a faint toxic cloud surrounding them as several exhaled the breath taken in from the cigarette resting between their fingers. Jungkook was clueless as to what was going on. It looked like the men were enjoying themselves mostly but every now and again one or two would shout and complain, followed by laughter. He couldn't promise that he would remember how to play but the couple learnt something new about each other, which was novel.

"No.. definitely, no... no thanks," he'd told Taehyung whilst waving a hand in the air. Jungkook did not want to be a part of an annual card game with a group who will bet a car or property without giving it a second thought. Jungkook checked out of the conversation when the CEO asked him whether they should wage a holiday on Ma'Ohi or one of his properties?

Jungkook didn't want Tae to change who he was because that's who he'd fallen in love with. He'd learnt to accept the man who squandered money sometimes... or that was Jungkook's version of events, Taehyung's version would be different. The truth of the matter was that the couple had boundaries. It wasn't a topic they'd discussed, it was a natural evolution. Boundaries were tested by the CEO from time to time but Jungkook would rather have balloons, flowers, a giant teddy bear and breakfast instead of the matching supercars that Taehyung had finally stopped joking about getting.
