Chapter 284 - Tears of the Good Kind

"Hey... sorry I'm only just returning your calls... how are you feeling?"

Emi was trying to focus on talking but it was really difficult, given the huge grin on her face. She was so giddy, she was trying to lay still but she kept rolling over and burying her face in the pillow that had her husband's scent all over it.

"Oh... much better! Just tired now. The boys are back and in bed and Kyong is completing a map... or something like that."

"He's what?"

"I don't know! He said something about a map and Smiler being online? It makes no sense to me."

"Ahhh! That kind of map... gaming stuff?"

"I think so?!" Jara yawns, "Sorry, I'm so tired! I've slept all day!"

"Has Heeju gone home now?"

"Yeah. She went home earlier. We felt so rough. She wanted to get home and get some more sleep before Ash got home and her plan was to avoid Smiler because he's got a cold. I think she might already be getting it!"

"I hope everyone feels better tomorrow. You don't want people ill at the ceremony."

"There's not a lot I can do about it. Are you back at the hotel now?"

"Yees!" There was a definite 'eeeek' sort of tone to the 'yes'. She should stop smiling! It was a stark contrast to the tears an hour or so ago, which she hopes never to relive because that was the most embarrassing situation she'd ever been in!

More embarrassing than her sexual bravado last night!

"Spill the tea! I'm suddenly very awake! What's happened? That was not a normal 'yes, I'm back after the hotel'... Did you have sex again? Please tell me you arrived back and demanded to ride Han-Shik like a stallion!"

Emi starts choking on her saliva... grinning, giggling and trying to swallow was not her best idea. "Please never say that again!" She laughs with a scratchy throat that she tries to clear whilst chuckling quietly. "No, I didn't do that."

"Tell me. Is Han-Shik there? Did he tell you about the conference and how Taehyung offered his help? I almost wish I wasn't getting married tomorrow. I need a girls day so we can catch up! A lot has happened since you left here last night."

"You do not wish that the wedding wasn't happening. This is the special day that you should've had if our mother-in-law wasn't such a control freak."

"I know, I know... tell me... you beautified yourself, your husband went to a business conference and then?"

Emi rolls over onto her stomach, "Eeek,,, I can't!"

"Yes! Yes, you can! You have to tell me... I'm getting married tomorrow and I need to know!" Jara would've chosen sleep over gossip before she answered the phone but now that has changed and she is desperate for her sister-in-law to spill the tea! "I don't think I could get married without knowing... are you pregnant?"

"What? Absolutely not!"

"Tell me... please? Come on! No one sounds this happy for no reason and knowing that you've hardly had a fun packed day... something must've happened!"

"It was fun having my nails done."

"Emi! I could ask you tomorrow on Euphoria?"

"Okay, okay! I'm not used to talking about stuff like this. It's not easy... I feel as if I should've poured a whiskey before calling you." she giggles.

"If it makes you that uncomfortable, please don't put yourself through it."

"I want to share it. I don't have anyone else who knows Han-Shik who I can talk to so it's great but there's a part that REALLY embarrassing! Maybe it's happened to you before? Ugh! I googled it and that helped."
