Unknown territory and so far out of his comfort zone that Jin felt like there were galaxies that separated him from it. He'd managed all these years without any form of therapy, even after his hospital stay when everyone insisted he needed it. What he needed at that time was to regain a normal diet and break free from the controlling boyfriend.
The irony that he'd looked into accessing a therapist at this stage in his life when he was happier than he'd ever been... was laughable.
Jin and Muyeol had returned from a job that had taken them out of the country for a few days and the model had reached peak cringeness, according to P.J, who seemed to know all of his secrets. The thing was that Jin agreed with his model colleague who was confidant to his boyfriend and the partner of one of Jin's best friends... he had reached peak cringeness.
Perhaps he'd entered into the realms of overkill now?
Apparently, writing 'I love you' in liquid dark chocolate around a heart shaped strawberry cheesecake was a bit much according to P.J when he heard Muyeol talking about it like he'd been hypnotised by the love fairy.
Jin asked Namjoon (who joined them for the last two days) whether it was 'a bit much' but the interior designer got himself into hot water by stating that it wasn't something he would do... that's when it transpired that Namjoon was the least romantic person on the planet (in P.J's opinion).
Now they were back and this was when normal life was meant to happen and they could be boyfriends who were in love... but conversations about the future were causing some difficulty and Jin needed to talk to Muyeol once he arrived.
The model hoped he could keep everything light hearted because defensiveness wasn't going to help the situation and aid any discussions to get an outcome they both agree with.
At least they could both be open about the fact that they were definitely in love and wanted the relationship to work.
The photographer had had a lot of work on since they'd returned and Xposure was so busy that he'd made the decision to make that his full-time focus because it did give him the freedom and best of both worlds so there wasn't any need to maintain the freelance stance. Muyeol was enjoying working closely with Raphael and being able to share his expertise... it was much more fulfilling than he'd thought it would be.
He was running late, through no fault of his own... well, he was indirectly blameless. He could already predict the conversation that would come from it as he entered the code to Jin's apartment and let himself in.
Muyeol hadn't expected to burst into a fit of laughter when he saw his boyfriend waiting for him dressed in elephant tracksuit bottoms... complete with trunk and ears!
"Oh my god!" He cackles, "What are you wearing?"
Jin smirks and wiggles his perfectly shaped eyebrows up and down, "Like what you see?"
Muyeol hasn't even closed the door and he's practically on his knees in hysterical laughter. He has no idea if that was the desired effect... he hoped it was because there was a chance that he'd just squashed his boyfriend's confidence (even though he doubted that there was anything that could do that). Had Jin been dressed in a simple pair of trousers or tight fitting hipsters, he would've had a very different reaction and as much as he could happily drool over the naked torso... he couldn't look past the trousers. "It depends... which... part... you're talking... about?" The photographer manages.
"Should I be offended?"
Muyeol takes a few deep breaths so that he can pull himself together, close the door and greet his man with the kiss he deserves.
