Chapter 240 - It Is Time.

"Today is going to be hell... can we stay home?" Tae asks.

"You've hired a car so we can pick Marie and Sukmin up... no, we can't stay home." Jungkook honestly can't believe his husband. Ara offered to get the family a lift to the palace for the fashion show but when Tae offered to pick them up, Jungkook naturally presumed that he meant use the Audi... of course not. When Taehyung said the car would be arriving in the morning, Jungkook presumed that he'd asked Tom to drive them all... of course that wasn't it, either.

The CEO looked confused when Jungkook was bewildered as to why there was a brand new sleek, black Mercedes SUV waiting in the underground car park. Taehyung thought it was obvious that he would have hired a car for the job... the dancer hadn't thought it was obvious at all.

"We could drop them off, then return home?" Tae suggests.

"Why are we having this conversation? You know full well that we will be going to the show and that your eomma would disown us otherwise."

Tae sighs, "It was worth a try. I'd much rather be in bed."

"We only have ourselves to blame for being tired..." Jungkook huffs a giggle, "... it was worth it though."

"I don't want to go to bed to sleep..." Tae grins, "... I was hoping for an encore."

Jungkook laughs, "Oh my god, I should've known better... of course you don't want to sleep."

"I would like my husband to use me for his pleasure."

The dancer shakes his head and laughs again. He did feel tired and it was a rude awakening when the cockerel sounded this morning but he would do it all over again... perhaps without the airport drama beforehand. He was dying to see Ash to find out what happened when they got home last night. He wonders what Ara and Yejoon said when Heeju walked through the door?

Jungkook had to relive the reasons that they were in a Mercedes SUV when they picked Marie and Sukmin up from the diner. Sukmin was excited about the vehicle and and was disappointed that it was only being rented. The addition of the family of three in the car meant that all X-rated conversations stopped, much to Jungkook's relief as he could sense that Tae would reference their exploits from last night many more times.

"Mirrored ceiling?" Marie says to Jungkook as they walk behind Taehyung and Sukmin, through the gates of the palace.

"The list of things is getting longer." Jungkook says. He'd hoped that no one heard what Tae said as they exited the vehicle.

Marie giggles, "Is there a specific room where Taehyung wants the mirrored ceiling?"

Jungkook's cheeks heat and he bumps the diner owner in a jokey gesture with his shoulder. "I think you know." He says.

"Sorry, Jungkookie... your reaction was worth the question."

An eye roll is followed by a shaking of his head, "That's an Ash thing to do."

"I think Ash is rubbing off on Sukmin."

"Don't let that happen. I don't think any of us could handle two Ash's."

"Talking of Ash, have you spoken to him today?"

"No... why? Is everything okay?"

"I was just wondering how he was doing without Heeju. He puts on a brave face but he's still a scared little boy behind that sometimes."

It hadn't even occurred to Jungkook that people wouldn't know that Heeju didn't get on the plane. He'd sent a text to Emery so that the casting director knew that they didn't need to meet but he hadn't spoken to anyone else apart from Tae. "It's a long story and I'll let Ash tell you in detail but the very short version is that she didn't go."
