Chapter 276 - Clean

It was cliche but Tae was giggling like a school girl as they left their apartment. He was a lot giddy and he was walking on air. For a man that was accustomed to the finer things in life, who liked luxurious, expensive and what most people would class as 'exorbitant'... being asked out on a date by his husband, appeared to be the most simple element of his world, yet it was one of the things that made him enormously happy.

The CEO couldn't even find the words to say anything in the elevator on the way down, his head was full of the way their hands fit together so perfectly and how his husband's cologne attacked his senses like a potent, erotic nerve gas. There wasn't a single thing that he didn't love about Jungkook. During a conversation with Stefan, where they'd spoken about the early days when the CEO was perplexed by the busker that got on his nerves and caused him more trouble than anyone had in his life, he thought about the list of negatives. Stefan was horrified that such a list existed, Taehyung was convinced his then P.A had known about it but Stefan was sure that had he known back then, he'd have found out who Jungkook was and urged him to run a mile in the opposite direction.

Ash liked to refer to the CEO as the 'rich stalker' when he was tired of calling him 'KTH, to which Tae argued that Jungkook must have loved him back then because he didn't ever definitively tell him to never contact him again... calling him a cunt in the street didn't count... Jungkook still got into the Ferrari after that.

It really shouldn't have been as difficult as it was... that much was obvious.

"You look gorgeous." Jungkook squeezes his husband's hand.

Tae's cheeks take on a pink haze as the compliment registers. "Thanks. You, too... that shirt is.... erm...well... it's the body underneath that is distracting."

"Too much?" Jungkook asks, "I did question that when I bought it."

"Not at all! I'm the lucky one because I know what that body is capable of... everyone else gets to browse."

Jungkook giggles, "browse? Is that like window shopping for people who don't go shopping?"

"Call it whatever you like... it's looking only, either way."

"Yeah, well, I would advise against shopping with Emery and P.J... not that I was meant to be shopping at all! I met them for a coffee and as soon as I told them about tonight, the next thing I know, we were shopping. I have so many clothes!"

"Not by my standards you don't." Tae says with a grin. "Seok said that you have a shopping day planned with Emery?"

"You mean that Emery has planned a shopping day for me? I will admit that I do need some clothes for Gravity 2. I've either got smart or lazy casual, neither of which is suitable. I'm going to be more front facing with Gravity 2 so I need dance wear that I can confidently speak to parents in. Emery helps Hobi with EGO merch and uniforms for staff so he offered to help. The brothers at IISE said they have some things to show me so I'll go there and see what they have."

"Are you going to have uniforms for students?"

"I can't think about all that just yet."

Tae loves the way that his husband avoids the subjects that he doesn't want to deal with. It is one of Jungkook's less productive qualities but Tae loves the whole package... every detail makes Jungkook the man he is.

"Have you arranged for Tom to take us? He didn't give me any hints that he knew." The CEO expected to go down to the car park so is surprised when Jungkook steps out into the lobby, a stop sooner than he thought.

"No. Tom isn't taking us anywhere."

Tae's professional persona is the version of himself that has the poker face... this version, not so much. He looks horrified, "Oh... did you leave the Audi out the front?" The words were hopeful because his subconscious was taunting him with two words: 'public transport'.
