"Are you alright, Kookie.... Kookie?"
Tae shook his new husband through laughter as they collapsed onto the sand, waves lapping at their feet.
"Kookie... I might have to give you mouth to mouth if you don't respond."
Jungkook was pleased to be on firm ground, soaking wet, limbs limps, arms outstretched either side. He turns his head to look at the CEO who is propped up on his elbow staring at him, eyes sparkling, giggling as he waits for the dancer to talk.
"I am now." Jungkook says, smiling.
"It wasn't that bad!" Tae protests.
"Tae, I saw my life flash before my eyes."
"And you say that I am dramatic." the CEO adds, leaning over to drop a kiss on his new husband's full lips.
The couple had been jet skiing around the island and it had been a lot of fun until Jungkook agreed to let Tae drive. He was reminded why he should never let him drive anything ever again. Jungkook conceded that this was probably the only situation where he didn't trust Taehyung... it was hair raising and dangerous and he'd never clung on for dear life like he had earlier.
"I'm ready for bed." Jungkook announced.
"Now that I can get on board with!"
"Still horny, even after a near death experience, huh?"
"Always, nothing gets in the way of my hunger for my new husband." Tae beams. "Besides, I wasn't the one who had the near death experience."
"We should get going for our last big night out." Jungkook informs his husband, "not that we've had many big nights out but you know what I mean."
"Tonight will be fun! But I'd rather lay here and kiss you for a bit longer."
"That would be your first option, always, Tae." Jungkook states.
"What would be your first option?" He asks, hopeful in his tone, eyebrows moving up and down quickly.
Jungkook ponders the question... he's got a surprise planned for the CEO tonight and Tae has no idea. This was their evening at the festival where they will enjoy Polynesian culture by way of food, drinks, dance and setting. They'd seen Arihi yesterday and Tae asked if she would be attending the festival and she said she wouldn't because she would be at the honeymoon house, getting it ready for the couple's departure. After a discussion and finding out that the sweet housekeeper would like to go, Tae arranged it so she could have the night off... paid.
Jungkook was sure that at some point there would be a maximum capacity for the love he had for the CEO but every day he seemed to fall more in love with him. The way that Taehyung waved away the gratitude because the wages for Arihi was small change to him and he saw the value in her having a treat, a night off, just made the dancer's heart swell. The housekeeper was so grateful. She worked solidly throughout the year and even though she had one of the best jobs on the island, she didn't get to enjoy nights out. Arihi was the one constant throughout their time on the island, they'd met Chefs and the other housekeeper but Arihi had gone above and beyond, helping each of them with their plans and surprises and making sure everything within the honeymoon house ran smoothly.
"The hesitation isn't boosting my confidence." The CEO says.
Jungkook isn't really thinking about his answer, that is simple, the answer is 'Tae'... that would always be his first option... but sometimes he likes to play a little game and poke the bear, test the waters and see what reaction he can garner. It's ridiculous at times because the other knows the real answer but they play the game anyway.
