Chapter 302 - Toilet

Why was it, when you had to go to the toilet, everyone else needed to go, too?

Having to go and needing to go were two different situations and Heeju thought she needed to go, first of all, so she'd sneaked into the master bedroom suite to use the bathroom. She knew that Kyong and Jara weren't staying on-board, those plans had changed several times leading up to the big day for various reasons, from the weather to Jara not wanting to leave the boys. In the end, as of an hour before the ceremony, Ara and Yejoon were still having Ki-Joon and Si-Jin at their house, which was great because with Billy and Marie taking the outhouse at the Kim's, there were plenty of people to lend a hand... and now that was definite.

Yesterday, while plans were evolving, Tae had pulled a favour and the remarried couple had a night in the honeymoon suite at an exclusive hotel. Technically it was Jungkook's idea and Tae made sure everyone knew it, not wanting to take the credit simply because he happened to have a working history with the man who was at the helm of the most luxurious hotel. Jungkook was given the task of telling his brother about the night away, which he was reluctant to do... he hadn't been the one to arrange it... Taehyung refused to be the one to gift the hotel stay... a) Kyong wasn't his brother, b) It wasn't his idea and c) He felt his husband should do it.

Heeju had known about the pointless disagreement between her brother and brother-in-law when Jara gushed about the gift. She'd refused to get involved, she could see both sides and she thought it was inane, as were the majority of the disagreements the couple had. There wasn't another duo in her life who actually created drama where there shouldn't be any. Heeju decided that the purpose must be to make up... argue about something ridiculous... create a problem just so they could grovel and have fun making up. There truly wasn't any other logic reason behind it... who wants to invent problems in a relationship?

TaTa was luxurious, or so Heeju thought, but Euphoria was another level. Heeju wanted to stay onboard, without her brother, so that she could claim the master suite. She'd locked the door on the way in, just in case someone had the same idea as her. This room was off limits as far as most people were concerned as Heeju couldn't trust that plans wouldn't change again so she'd covered all bases. Knowing her luck, she would be sitting on the toilet and Taehyung and Jungkook would escape the guests to have some personal time as they were two guests who were aware that the room would now be surplus to requirements.

That was all she needed! She loved her brother and they were close but she didn't want to hear him having sex with his husband. Talking about it and witnessing it were two different things.

This whole situation was a tick box exercise, she was sure of that. Heeju nearly gave Angel the pregnancy test, however, that would've meant admitting that Jara got one for her. Angel said her period was late, her breasts were sore and Stefan was looking at her in a strange way (though she didn't know what 'strange' meant?). All that she could do was advise her friend to do a test as soon as she could... there was only one way to find out... when she gave the advice, the test that was burning a hole in her bag, popped into her mind and she decided she should follow her own advice. Plus there was every chance that Jara would ask her about it after the speeches and food.

'Imagine if we were both pregnant' Heeju thought. She didn't think the group could handle that. Most of the friends disliked children, let alone screaming babies. She would rather plan it, at least that way she would knowingly be causing the group some irritation. The thought makes her nauseous, panic makes itself at home in her stomach like a cat kneading a cushion before getting comfortable. She wasn't yet married, they hadn't lived together for that long and she hadn't managed to train Ash out of some of his habits like leaving his car key on the kitchen counter instead of hanging it on the hook by the front door that was labelled 'KEYS'. There were a handful of occasions where she'd found his car key in the fridge! Who does that?
