The movie night last night was the very definition of perfect but Taehyung was expecting a lazy morning before his turn to surprise Jungkook this afternoon. They'd had a late night, making love on the beach as the credits rolled on the fabric screen, it was romantic, intimate but a bit chilly.

He was confused when the cockerel sounded and he was ripped from his dream.

"Dark." he mutters as he slaps his hand around on the bedside table to locate his phone.

"Time to get up, baby." Jungkook's voice sounds in the dark.

Tae rubs his eyes, the cockerel stops as his phone falls on the floor. "Dark." he mutters again.

The dancer giggles. He thought that when his alarm went off earlier that it would wake his husband but Tae was out for the count. He'd sneaked out of bed, quietly and carefully, waiting until he was standing under the shower before he grumbled to himself about how early it was.

"Wake up, baby."

Tae opens one eye, "Dark."

"You need to get up."

Tae opens both eyes and can see his new husband standing beside the bed in the dim lighting, a halo of light from the closed bathroom door. "Why? It's dark."

Jungkook places his hands down onto the mattress, bending over towards Taehyung. "Please... come on."

"Where are we going?"

"Get dressed and I'll tell you."

Tae rubs his eyes again, using the tip of his index finger to clear the remnants of sleep from the corners. "Is it night time?"

"No, it's morning... Tae... please get up." Jungkook was losing the will to live.

"You hate mornings."

Jungkook is despairing, they are on a time constraint. "Baby! I love you so much but please, please... get up."

"What should I wear?"

The dancer is relieved when his husband finally gets out of bed and goes to the wardrobe. "You can wear anything you like."

"I need to make sure my breath is minty." The CEO grins.

"I'll wait downstairs, as long as you hurry up, I don't care if your breath is minty or not... just, please, hurry."

Jungkook leaves the bedroom and heads downstairs. He stands on the decked area near the bbq and paces, checking his phone for the time. They weren't going far but the sun wasn't going to wait for them just because Tae was dragging his heels. The whole point of having a sunrise breakfast was to watch the sun rise! They'd seen the sun set many times and every time it's been beautiful BUT today was about Jungkook getting up super early so they could watch the morning arrive together. He had it all planned... the breakfast picnic was set up and the pearl necklace was in a lavish, hinged box (not of his choosing) ready to go. He hadn't realised that their usually relaxed 'get up whenever' mornings, would hinder him as much as this as clearly his CEO husband had gotten used to it.

Jungkook was hating this morning quite rapidly... where was Tae?!

Next time he would have to ruin the surprise and tell him so he knew they were limited on time... next time? There would not be a next time.

He was about to walk inside and drag his husband outside when said husband appeared in the doorway. Jungkook rolled his eyes when he saw his sweatpants and t-shirt. He could swear that Tae was either naked or in his clothes these days and he wondered why he brought two suitcases at all?!
