I stand there for a moment, shocked and confused. I know why he left, and I can't blame him but...

My thoughts are interrupted by someone snaking their arms around my waist from behind.

"Did I ever tell you that I hate waking up alone?" he whispers huskily in my ear. I don't respond to him, I just stand there, holding the note in my hands.

Harry starts kissing my neck softly, trying desperately to get a response out of me. Any other time, I'd love for him to be doing this, but I still don't move. He soon gives up.

"Did I do something wrong?" he asks, concern in every octave of his voice. I just shake my head 'no' in response. "Then what is it?," he asks.

"N-Niall left." I say, my voice barely a whisper.

"What?" Harry asks, incredulous at my words. I hand him the note and watch his face as he reads it. He grabs my cell phone and dials Niall's number. He obviously doesn't get an answer and doesn't bother to leave a message either. He hangs up and sets my phone back on the counter top.

"This is all my fault." I whisper, tears obscuring my vision.

"Allison. This is not your fault. Don't blame yourself." Harry tells me.

"I can't help it. It is my fault. Harry, what if Niall's not here for our wedding?" I ask. Niall was Harry's best man. (Louis was a little upset that it wasn't him, but he eventually got over it.) I really wanted Niall to be there. No matter what's happened between us.

"Allison I-" Harry gets cut off by Brooklyn crying upstairs. I hurry up there, Harry right on my heels, and find that she's standing up in her crib, screaming her head off.

I pick her up and cradle her in my arms. She stops crying as soon as I pick her up.

"Aww. Did you just miss Mama? I'm here now Brookey, it's okay," I shush to her. She stops crying and Harry wipes away the few lingering tears. I hand her over to him and he throws her up and down while she laughs. Her metallic laugh rings throughout the entire room and her deep dimples show as she smiles.

He blows raspberry kisses on her cheek and she giggles. "How's daddy's girl huh?"

"Da da. Dada," is all she says.

Harry and I dress her and then go  back downstairs to see Perrie, Zayn, Liam, Dani, Lou, and Eleanor in the kitchen.

"Hey, where's Niall?" Liam asks.

"He left." Harry answers.

"What?! What do you mean he left?" Perrie asks.

"Not for good. Here, read this." I say and then hand her the note. She reads it aloud. By the time she's finished, everyone's face has turned grave.
