Because I've been so busy, these past several days have gone by fast.

I was occupied the whole time that I don't think I even had a moment for thought. I felt as though I didn't exist throughout those few days. When I wasn't working, I was either with Orion, cooking for him, picking him up from school, taking him to school, or helping him do his homework. He even spent some evenings at the hospital with me. It was his idea. I only accepted since I am trying to use all my free time, no matter how small it is, to give him my attention. But since I'm not letting him anywhere near my father, my mother comes to get him when it's close to being his bedtime and stays the night at my house with him.

"Thanks for the pizza." Orion takes a huge sip of his soda when I return from going to the restroom.

"You're welcome." I give him a smile.

I don't understand how he can consume all this junk without feeling sick. It's not like he excessively eats it, but I just can't comprehend it. I simply feel sick at the thought of chugging that much soda.

I do give him healthier foods though when I cook for him, and he enjoys it which is why I don't say anything when he asks for fast food, or any other foods considered unhealthy.

Orion stands from his seat when seeing me pick up my purse indicating that it is time to go.

"Will you take me to soccer practice tomorrow?" My son asks as we step out the restaurant.

"I have to check my schedule but if I'm not able to who would you like to have take you?" I glance at him as he seems to be thinking.

A small smile appears on his lips before he takes another sip of his orange soda. "Silas."

The name itself makes me feel a certain way. Not a bad way but a way that I'm not sure if I like or not. His gorgeous face just immediately comes to mind, and I hate it in a good way.

"Catalina." A familiar voice sounds before I am able to reply to Orion.

My whole-body tenses as I look toward the woman. She stands in front of me and my son, her eyes on him.

"What a surprise to see you again." Her brows furrow in confusion and her voice becomes softer from distraction.

I glance at Orion to see him stare back at the woman. He doesn't seem to like the staring so he slightly glares.

"Caroline." I acknowledge her to try and get her attention away from my son.

I swear I can't feel my body. My nerves have completely filled with anxiety, and I feel glued down to the ground. Her and Orion are related and they're both clueless about it. It is also something that should not be known ever.

"Who is this handsome young man?" She keeps her eyes on Orion, still studying every part of his face. There is no way she knows.

Does she? Orion does kind of look like his father but is it that obvious? It probably is. He is almost a replica of him but also me.
