With anticipation I step out the car with a bouquet of hydrangeas in my hand.
A small smile is permanently visible on my lips as I make my way toward the large wooden doors of the mansion. I ring the doorbell and then I patiently wait. A few short moments later the door is opened by the loveliest woman to ever exist.
She is dressed in a white dress that ends just below her knees. Her figure is well embraced, accentuating its beauty, and she is wearing heels as usual. Her hair is not naturally wavy today. It's parted to the side and styled beautifully. The makeup she is wearing beautifully brings out her features. She appears elegant and breathtakingly gorgeous.
"Good evening, doctor." I lick my lips slightly. I think my mouth has gone dry from staring at her.
"Good evening, Silas." She gives me small smile and I'm in heaven.
"You are as beautiful as always." I smile a little bigger, running my eyes all over her again.
"You look delightful, dolcezza." I could compliment her all day.
"Thank you. You look very handsome yourself." She turns around at the sound of footsteps.
Orion appears with her purse and hands it to her.
"Thank you, cariño." She tells him.
"Hi, Silas." Orion greets me with a smile and a fist bump after I hold out my hand to him.
"Hello, Orion." I respond, everything starting to seem more real now.
I suddenly remember the flowers in my hand. "These are for you, Cata."
She smiles as more footsteps sound from behind her. Lucia appears this time with Dahlia. Catalina takes the flowers and then hands them to Lucia, asking her to put them in water.
"Make sure to have a good time." Lucia tells us both but gives me a look of protectiveness.
"We should go now." Catalina tells me and I extend a hand to her.
She takes it and I kiss it before intertwining our fingers together. She seems a little flustered as she looks away from me. Orion and Lucia are smiling from ear to ear. I'm guessing she isn't used to such affection around people.
"We'll be back later." I assure Lucia and Orion.
Catalina gives Orion a kiss on the forehead. "Make sure to go to bed early. You have school tomorrow."
"Okay. Enjoy your date." Orion lightly smiles, his pretty, brown eyes sparkling.
"I will." Catalina gives him a soft stare.
"Go on now." Lucia says as she picks up Dahlia into her arms.
She lightly laughs at the look Catalina gives her. "I'll be back later."
