I gather my things ready to leave and go home for the day.
I had a long night here at the hospital and it has lasted until today. It's noon time and I haven't rested or eaten anything. I'm tired and hungry and I want to go home.
I turn off my office lights and I leave the room, heading for the front of the hospital. I'm saying bye to Yaretzi when Benjamin appears beside me. It seems he is also leaving. I don't have any intention of talking to him because I don't feel like it, so I turn around to leave. I don't make it to the door before he is standing in front of me with a smile. How is he not exhausted?
"Catalina, would you like to join me for lunch? There is this delicious Italian restaurant around here that just opened." He is lucky he isn't very ugly or else I would pass out from staring at him from how tired I am.
Italian food sounds so good right now and my stomach will start to growl at any moment, so I nod. I'm sure he is going to pay so that just convinces me a bit more.
I ask him for the name of the restaurant and then I tell him I will meet him there. With that I go to my car, and I don't leave because I close my eyes for a few minutes until my stomach starts begging me for food.

I yawn as I look through the menu while running my fingers through my hair now that it's out of that tight ponytail. Benjamin is chuckling and speaking but I don't have a clue on what he is saying. My brain is too focused on all the food I want to consume. He is talking but I can't hear a word.
Until a waiter speaks up. "Are you ready to order?"
My attention is on the handsome man immediately. I give him my order and then I have to wait for Benjamin to give his. There is then another long while of Benjamin talking and me not having a clue about what he is saying as I sip on my lemonade.
The moment I get my food I get right to eating. Benjamin continues talking and the more pasta I consume the more I actually start to make out what he is saying.
"You have a son." Benjamin states and I nod. "Is his father in the picture?"
I don't see how that is any of his business, but I shake my head.
"So you are single?" He asks and I nod, taking a sip of my lemonade.
