I'm on my laptop trying to get into a security system when a loud noise emanates from my apartment's entryway. It's quite coincidental because I'm currently searching for who is after me.

I set my laptop to the side before reaching into my nightstand to retrieve a gun.

It sounds like someone has entered. I can tell it's not my Cata because if it were, I would hear her pretty voice calling out to me or her heels approaching. It's definitely not my parents because I'd be hearing them yelling my name, and they also usually ring the doorbell.

Since I'm home, my security system isn't activated so there is no alert of an intruder.

Making sure my pistol is loaded, I get up from my bed and make my way toward the bedroom door. I slowly move toward the front of the apartment without making a sound. I carefully observe my surroundings with my gun pointed out in front of me. I'm prepared to kill the first dumbass who crosses my path.

I turn the corner of the hallway into the living room to be met with two men. They charge at me without giving it a second thought, but their plans to attack me go to shit when I suddenly knock them out and have them unconscious on my floor.

After searching them for weapons, I get rid of them and manage to tie them both up against a wall. I wait around thinking about who could possibly want my head off my body.

The two individuals in front of me are dressed just like the ones that made the horrible attempt to kill me some time ago. It's the reason I chose not to kill them yet. I want answers, and I will get them. Although I have a very good idea now of who the fucker is that believes it is so easy to end my life.

It's not long before the two men are awake. It's not like their bodies are leaving this building with life, therefore I don't bother putting on my mask, and they've already seen my face anyway. With a sharp blade in my hand, I lean against a wall, deciding to try to patiently get them to talk before I resort to violence. I've even changed into an old t-shirt. I didn't want to dirty my expensive white sweater that I was wearing.

"I'm going to be kind and let you speak before I drain all the blood from your bodies." I calmly speak to really show that this is a safe space for now.

One of them glares with a hard expression on his face. "We aren't telling you shit."

His friend doesn't take his eyes off the blade I'm playing with in my hand. I keep my eyes on him knowing that he is the one who will provide me with the answers I am searching for.

"Are you sure? It would really make me sad to kill your spouses." Earlier, I observed the bands on their fingers when I was searching for weapons.

Neither of them like what I say. Fear very gradually begins to show in each of their eyes.

"I'll talk." The guy I was watching contradicts his friend who sends him a deadly glare.

"Just don't fucking touch my family and you have to let me leave." He adds, his voice tinted with panic.
