I wake up to my father violently shaking me awake.

"Wake up, Azrael." He appears a little worried and almost seems panicked.

"What? What's going on?" I sit up so fucking confused.

"Call Ace." Is all that he tells me before disappearing out of my bedroom.

I reach for my phone on the bedside table, still extremely fucking confused. I see Ace has been blowing up my phone. An uneasy feeling descends in the pit of my stomach as I return his calls.

"Fucking finally." He sounds stressed.

"What's with all the calls? Missed hearing my voice?" I smile because I can basically see him glaring.

"Last night my men called. The ones keeping watch on Orion and Catalina." Ace sounds very serious and even a little bit frustrated.

The smile wipes off my face and any emotion leaves my body. "What happened? Are Catalina and Orion, okay?"

"I don't know." He sighs. "They told me that they left late last night. My men followed them but completely lost them and they haven't returned or heard from them since."

My heart drops to my stomach.

I think back on last night. I went to check on her to make sure she was fine since I hadn't heard from her in two days. She surprised me by abruptly breaking up with me. Of course, I didn't accept it despite some of the harsh words she said to me. Her disappearance connects with that, and it all leads me to one person. Kane.

"What?" I hear Lucia's panicked voice through the phone.

Ace goes quiet and lightly sighs. It seems he was keeping this information from her.

"I'm coming over." He informs me before hanging up.

As much as I want to sit there and take everything in, I can't. I quickly get out of bed, open my laptop, and I get to work. It takes me a few minutes to trace her cell phone. It leads me to nothing because it was last turned on last night a short distance from her house. I manage to get into the security system in her house. A little after my visit, I see her and Orion leaving. They each have a bag with them when they get into her car. It's all I see because no one enters or leaves the house after that.

My parents suddenly enter the bedroom, worried expressions displaying on their faces.

"Is everything alright?" Mamma asks, appearing to already know about the situation along with my father.

"No." My attention is fixed on the laptop in front of me as I begin to trace Cata's car.

"What exactly is going on?" Papa then questions.

"Catalina and our son are basically missing." My focus is limited to the screen in front of me. "It happened last night. No one has been able to reach them since and now I'm finding them myself."
