Catalina Alcaraz is the woman for me.
I was doubting myself for a moment but not anymore. She will be mine whether she likes it or not because she will end up liking it eventually. I realized doubt isn't any good. It only makes me weak and if I keep up with such a mentality, I won't achieve anything.
Dr. Alcaraz isn't getting rid of me. Her mistake was walking into my life unknowingly. She will become my wife and Orion my son. We will be a happy family, and everything will be good in the end. I will make them both very happy.
I actually think I am becoming more and more attached to them the more time I spend with them. All I have to do is win Catalina over.
I stop the punching bag in front of me from moving any further. I then remove my training gloves as I go to grab a towel to wipe the sweat off my body. While I clean myself off, I take a drink from my water bottle, and I head out my gym. I have to go shower and then leave. Ace invited me over for a drink and that isn't something I will decline.

"How are things going between you and my sister-in-law? I'm guessing she still isn't fond of you?" Ace takes a drink of whiskey.
"It's taking a bit longer than expected but I will eventually get there." I confidently speak.
"It must be hurting your ego that the one woman you want isn't giving you the time of day." His words get a laugh out of me.
"It's making me more desperate than anything." Shamelessly, I admit.
"This is either going to destroy you or make you very happy. I'm wishing you the best." Ace seems a little worried.
"I'll be fine and she'll be mine. She's the one for me and I'm more than sure that one day she will see that." I stare down at the brown color of the whiskey in my glass. It's almost the exact same color of her eyes in the sunlight.
"I'll be as patient as she needs me to. Hell, I'll even wait forever for her. I'll give her all the time she needs to see that she's meant for me." I can't keep my eyes off my beverage. Her heavenly eyes come to mind and I just wish I could be gazing into them right at this moment.
"You're over the moon for her." Ace states, a smile on his face.
It takes a few seconds for him to then become serious and for a pensive expression to take over his face.
"Realistically speaking-"
"I am realistically speaking." I quickly cut in.
He ignores me and continues. "What will you do if she simply isn't interested in you and one day chooses to be with someone else?"
"At any moment another man can catch her eye, and she could fall in love with him. He can make her very happy-"
"None of that is happening." My delusional self is choosing peace at the moment, and I do not wish to think of such scenarios.
