I'm about to leave the apartment when I bump into my parents at the door.
"Good morning. Where are you going?" Mamma gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"You've got work?" Papa also hugs me.
"I'm going to get Orion." I inform them.
They already know about the situation.
"With Ace?" Papa questions and I shake my head.
He pushes me back inside the apartment when hearing my words. Him and mamma walk in, closing the door and preventing me from leaving.
"You aren't going anywhere." My father slightly glares.
" I am." I try to argue. " I'm going to go get my son back."
"No, the kid can potentially get hurt if you just go like this by yourself." Papa becomes angry with me.
"Orion will be more afraid if you go unprepared, Azrael." Mamma speaks to me in a gentler manner.
"Sit the fuck down and wait until Ace can accompany you." Papa demands, clenching his jaw.
"I'm going." I glare back. "My son is in danger and the woman I love is distraught. I can't sit back and watch any longer."
"We understand, honey, but it's better to be safe about this." Mamma tries to convince me, but nothing is going to work.
"Put that bag down and sit." Papa orders but I only glance at him and mamma.
"We know you're capable of taking out a hundred men at once and getting out of it alive, but this involves a child, Azrael." Mamma adds in. "You need to be more careful in this situation."
"I would never allow something to happen to him." I lowly speak, confident with myself.
Before they can try to stop me again, I walk out the apartment. I hastily make my way to the parking garage and within a short while, I'm on the road on the way to get my son.
I'm halfway to the location when Ace starts calling and I know that my father is the reason for it.
"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" Ace speaks as soon as I answer.
"Good morning to you too, sunshine." I sarcastically greet him.
"Don't try to stop me, Ace. This is my son we're talking about." I immediately speak before he can say something stupid.
"I'm not trying to stop you. I'm trying to help, idiota." He says, the sound of a car turning on in the background.
"You should have called. I'm on my way so you better wait for me before doing anything." Ace demands and I accept that.
"Fine but be quick. I can't promise you anything." I hang up on him.

With my sniper pointed toward the Astor home, I wait atop a hill.
