The Kamome Office 54 - The Burnt Dessert Incident

Outside of the black and burgundy dojo house, the boy with amber eyes appeared near the front door.

It was Yugi Amane who knocked on the front door three times. He wore his dark red shirt underneath his black heavy jacket. The boy with amber eyes also had his pair of black pants on. Amane also had white socks with his yellow-and-white shoes on. He was confused. "Yashiro? Yashiro, are you here?" The boy with black choppy hair inquired.

After a few moments, Amane puts his hands in his pants pockets.

He was about to go back to his house.

But something stops Amane from leaving.

He sniffed himself up with his both nostrils.

And then, Amane was puzzled. "Is something burning?" He inquires in his whisper.

He turned back to the front door.

Amane decides to open it.

The boy with amber eyes peeks out from behind the front door. Amane was emotionless. "Yashiro, sorry for intruding! I did knock on your door!" He hollered.

Amane enters her black and burgundy dojo house. He took his sneakers off.

When Amane closes the door, he sniffs the unusual smell again.

Amane becomes disgusted. "Ugh, something is burning around here." He mutters.

The boy with amber eyes puts on the random red slippers.

Amane hurries himself thru the hallway.

The boy with black choppy hair boy browsed around the doorways of the rooms.

After several moments, Amane found his next door neighbor.

The boy with amber eyes was baffled at her.

Yashiro was sleeping with her manga open on her chest.

She snores so loud from her nose.

Amane blinked his eyes once. "Geez, Yashiro can really snore in her sleep." He thought.

Amane continued to find where the odd smell comes from.

He made it to the kitchen.

Amane heard a breaking sound after he stepped one foot forward. He glanced down in his emotionless expression.

Amane's right red slipper moves backward a bit.

It was the scattered pieces of the white hamster timer.

He crouches down over to the broken object. Amane was glum at it. "Oh, Yashiro's timer broke." He whispered.

After a whole second, Amane became alarmed. The boy with black choppy hair widened his amber eyes. "Wait?! Yashiro's timer broke?!" He panicked in his inquiry.

And then, for another few seconds, the smoke detector starts to beep like crazy. It went off constantly, sensing the smoke from the oven.

Amane startles himself. "Gah!" He gasps.

In Yashiro's bedroom, she gets up from her lavender futon immediately. Yashiro was startled by the sound of the beeping. "Ah!" She shrieked.

Amane stands up from his crouch position. The boy with amber eyes was scared. Amane turns off the oven. "Gotta find the fire extinguisher!" He freaked out.

The constant beeps of the smoke detector kept going on the house.

Amane surveyed around the kitchen. "Where is it?! Where is it?! Where's the fire extinguisher?!" He freaked out again.
