The Kamome Office 94 - The Auction II

Note: The second and final part of The Auction. Thank you, everyone.

From the left of the stage, the two men in tuxedos carries each object for the auction house.

The first man in the tuxedo placed the grayish pillar next to Shijima Mei.

And the second man in the tuxedo puts the object on top of the grayish pillar. It was covered on the medium-sized white sheet.

Shijima was confident. "Here's the first item of the auction, ladies and gentlemen." She presented, gesturing at the cloaked object.

The two men in tuxedos unveiled the first item.

It was the group of the pointy-eared puppies. They are the red and cream dogs. The group of pups are in the medium-sized canvas. Two big dogs and five small puppies. The canvas was on the landscape position, displays on the canvas stand. The entire picture was made out of acrylic paint.

There was the awe in affection for the dogs in the picture.

Shijima picks up the gavel with her right hand. "The Family Shiba Inu. These dogs are currently owned by the Kanroji family. The cream female dog was only two years old when she became a first mom to her five puppies. The names of the Shiba Inu dogs are Tomoe the red dog and Nanami the cream dog. And the puppies are Chihiro, Haku, Ponyo, Sosuke and Saiki." She described them to her painting.

Yashiro becomes emotional in her sweet smile. "Awwwwww! The Sheebies are so cuuute!" She murmurs.

Amane made his puzzling smile at her to his left. "You really want that art in your bedroom, Yashiro?" He asked.

The girl with magenta eyes looks at him to her right, nodding her head twice. "I would love that so much." She answered.

Amane took a deep breath. "I gotta warn ya, Yashiro. The chance of getting one of Shijima's paintings are slim." He remarked.

Yashiro gets a smug expression. "I have thirty thousand yen. I think I can afford it." She mentioned.

Amane narrows his eyelids, getting emotionless. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." He doubted.

Shijima browses around the audience, looking left to right. "Ladies and gentlemen, the starting bid is ten thousand yen." She announced.

Yashiro made her determined smile, raising her right arm in the air. "Eleven thousand yen!" She hollers.

The man in his black suit raises his left hand. "Fifteen thousand yen." He stated nonchalantly.

Yashiro raised her right arm in the air again. "Sixteen thousand yen!" She exclaimed.

The woman in her avocado-colored dress raised her right hand. "Twenty thousand yen." She said.

The man in his black suit raises his left hand again. "Twenty-five thousand yen." He said.

Yashiro was irked, raising her right arm in the air one more time. "Thirty thousand yen!" She ranted.

The woman in her avocado-colored dress raised her right hand again. "Thirty-one thousand yen." She said.

Yashiro still has her right arm in the air. Her magenta eyes are turning into completely white. She was feared. "Ah." The girl with cream-colored hair with teal tips gasps.

And then, Yashiro sat back down, putting her hands on her lap. Her entire face turns blue with some vertical lines on her forehead.

Amane, Shinigami and Sumire are staring at her blankly.

Yashiro looks at her both hands on her lap. Her face sweats a little. Her white eyes has black spirals. "Ehhhhhh?! Thirty-one thousand yen?! Should I go back to the ATM and get more money for the painting?! No! No, don't Nene! You can't spend your whole savings account over the cuteness of Mei's artwork! Oooh! What to do?! What to do?! What to doooooo?!" She thought in her frantic voice.

The boy with amber eyes touched her right shoulder. Amane made his sad smile at the girl with magenta eyes. "Yashiro..." He whispered.

The girl with magenta eyes glanced at Amane. Yashiro becomes baffled at the boy with amber eyes.

Amane blinked his eyes once. "Do not worry about the painting of Shiba Inu dogs...You can always see Shijima's other art in the gallery..." He whispers in his comforting voice.

And then after a couple moments, the girl with magenta eyes became cheerful. "Thank you, Amane." She murmured.

The boy with amber eyes nodded his head once at her. "You're welcome, Yashiro." He said.

Shijima bangs the gavel on the podium. "Sold!" She shouted.

And then, Shijima was beaming, pointing at someone with her left index finger. "The woman in green has bought the Shiba Inu Family painting for six hundred thousand yen, ladies and gentlemen!" She exclaimed.

The audience applauded to the bidder.

Yashiro gets astonished Shijima. "Six hundred thousand yen?!" She gasped.

Amane was flabbergasted at the girl with blue-green eyes. "Darn Shijima..." He comments in his whisper.

And then, Amane was serious. "The painting of Yashiro is next. I hope that doesn't affect me because it will go higher to the one who bids the most." He thought.

The black-haired man in his black trench coat was behind the audience in the distance. He smirked in his grin to one corner of his mouth.
